Do you and your daughter have the same make and model camera? Most cameras will not display photos from a different camera.

Having received no response in over a month, I assume the problem was caused by two different cameras.

Im trying to transfer pics from my sd card in my camera but it wont work. it will show that there is a pics on my camera but not on my sd card. when i put in a 1 gb sd card it will show the pics on there...

The C330 works with SD cards, which max out at 2GB. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card and will not work with the C330. Thus when you put in the 4GB card, the camera completely ignores it.

My camera disc has five pictures on it. I cannot take a picture or earse the picutres because it says "card locked". It will however, let me take the disc out and develop them.

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Had pictures on camera then pressed the format mode and now i have no picutres can i get them back

Yes, you can unformat a sd or micro sd card. There a number of commercially available recovery software programs out there to choose from by running a search on "unformat sd card". Here's one example...

The mesage appears !protected card...I can't take picutres or get the camera to do anything

SD cards have a small slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Installed camera back in August, need to download photos, but it says the language is different?? Camera is a ex-z100, I have had no problems before.

I don't know about your software problem, but there is an alternate way to down load most cameras that use SD memory cards. Several stores carry card readers that output to USB connectors. Just remove your SD card , install it in the card reader and plug the card reader into the USB connector on your computer. Your computer should recognize it as just another input,
and you can copy the JPEG picutre to your computer.

plug your SD memory card directly into the computer your photos should still be on them unless your daughter chose the option to delete the originals.  There is no hard drive in the camera.
