Akai Flatscreen T V will shut off write After U TURN IT ON

sounds to me like capacitor faults on power supply,,,check for swollen capacitors that are leaking a black substance from the top of capacitor when swollen,,,(easy enough to see),,try replacing the capacitors with the exact same value in uf or mf but use a slightly higher volatage capacitor,,ie,,if it says 16v on the side of capacitor use the same or a higher voltage (if you use a higher voltage capacitor make sure theres enough space to refit as the higher the voltage the larger the capacitor,,make sure you replace it with the same amount of uf or mf which is also written on the side of the capacitor,,,,,hope this helps,,,

No power supply

The DC voltage may be OK but if the inside gas in the tubes is compromised then it won't make a difference. Trying a higher voltage may do the trick or placing a piece of aluminum foil in back of the segment may also do it, but remember what I said about leaving it on for a prolonged time with the higher voltage.

I have a 82 mercury Capri 5.0. I recently installed a new 12v ignition coil and a new ignition module. When engine is at high rpm or high load (5th gear gaining rpm at 2000rpm) the engine dies. The...

yes
voltage to the coil should be 12 volts on start and 7.5 volts on run
with power the inverse applies --higher voltages the lower the current or the lower the volts the higher the current
recheck the installation or get an accredited auto electrician do it for you

Can i replace a 300uf25v capasitor with a 50v.47uf capasitor in my polaroid tv

No they are not the same, you can go up on the voltage but not down, but you need to be very close or dead on the uf.

I cant get shred board to calibrate with xbox 360 console

Two of batteries that came with the board where almost 1.6volts while the other two where1.52 volts I changed out the batteries that came with board and game with 4 used AA batteries. Then moved the board back about 5'9 inches and this worked. I believe it is due to a high DC battery Voltage that causes this problem. I retested this again useing the higher voltage and got the same errors. then changed back to correct voltage and the board calibrated right away. This solved my problem. I hope this helps you. Make sure you test your batteries with a multi meter to make sure they are around 1.2volts to 1.52volts any higher than this gave my kids board a calibration problem. good luck hope this helps.

I need to adjust the voltage output a bit higher on my Briggs generator model 030247. The frequency is correct but I am only getting 115 VAC. The voltage reulator is not adjustable but has a conector...

It is always good to have the voltage set down by a small percentage and so the setting you have is quite good because most devices work happily with a lesser voltage than a higher one except those consuming higher currrent.
Now if you set the generator for the higher rating with the connected load and when the device is not used the voltage will rise above and may damage sensitive equipments. So take this tip.

Need to find any thing about the voltage of the power capacitors and how to replace them.

When replacing caps make sure the you use the same capacitance and type ex 1000mf electrolytic but you will want to go higher with its voltage rating ex if it is 10v go higher like 25v if you can find it.You will need a soldering iron, solder wick to remove solder and a roll of solder to install new parts. also make sure you put them in the same way as the original there is a plus and minus on them. Very important!!

New Dryer was purchased -- Tenant tells me he now requires higher voltage

Hello Paulcolletti,
I am not sure what you mean with your question.. Electric dryers typically use either 3 pole or 4 pole plugs that mate with the corresponding receptacle. If you already had an electric dryer there before, you need to make sure your power cord matches the receptacle. If it does not, most home goods stores ( like Home Depoit/ Lowes) and others carry the molded cord sets for that application and are reasonably easy to install. I fail to understand the low voltage versus high voltage comment as it pertains to a dryer. Please elaborate on this and maybe I can assist with a solution.. Good Luck...
