It could be a blockage, which means taking the grill apart. But I would try replacing the regulator and hose first, easy to do and not very expensive. If this doesn't work, please let me know.

GAS FLOW TO THE B/B/Q BURNERS

Three possibilities come to mind. First, is the propane tank full? Second, is the valve on the tank open all the way? Last, is there any obstruction in the lines such as spider webs. Spider webs can even make a furnace not run. This could easily cause low flow issues.

Yellow flame

Hello,
You may have a rusted, clogged or damaged burner or venturi tube. With a flashlight, check for spider webs, wasp nests or dirt (mud) dauber nests in the opening of the venturi tube where it connects at each gas valve orifice. Clean it out manually or blow it out with air compressor. Make sure the air adjustment opening (on the end of the burner's venturi tube) has not been changed. If it's closed too much, it will be difficult to light and cause lazy yellow flames. If it's not clogged, the burner may just be old and rusted and the burner holes are not allowing very much gas through anymore. It's also possible the burner has rusted so bad, the burner holes have been enlarged, it is falling apart or has cracks along the burner seams. If so, replace the burner(s) immediately. It is unsafe to use. Your local propane co can usually order the parts you need and some will even do the work, if you are uncomfortable doing it yourself. Bring with you the Make, Model and Serial number of the grill, so they can order the correct parts for your specific grill. Also specify whether it's natural gas2_bing.gif or propane.

Gas does not come out from burners...It seems

Blow it out with compressed air (canned air - air compressor or blow it out with the back side of a vacuum cleaner. Spiders love the smell of propane gas.

One side seems clogged, no propane gets through.

More than likely you can fix it yourself. Remove the burner that's not working or if the burners are joined remove the entire burner unit. Check small holes around edge og burner for anything that may be clogging them. I've used a round toothpick or a small nail to poke each hole gently to make sure it's clear. replace the burner and try agin, it should work fine. In the worst case the burner needs replacing. This can also be done yourself. Purchase the burner from a large hardware store or contact Weber for a replacement.

Wont get hot fast takes for ever

It's most likely a blockage at the burners. Make sure the burners are clean of any loose rust, dirt or spider webs. Grease drippings can also clog the burners and reduce gas flow and flame.

Won't start

Try clearing the venturri tube. Sometimes spiders will build webs inside the venturri tube, restricting the flow of propane to the burner. If the venturri tube is clear, try cleaning the individual ports on the burner itself. Grease, food debris, and rust can clog the burner ports restricting the flame from coming up. If neither of these work, you most likely have a faulty regulator and need to purchase a replacement regulator.

Hope this helps!

Weber grill three burner. New tank of propane but

The new style2_bing.gif OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
IF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment
