Dishwasher not heating

Check the heat circuit of your dishwasher. This will include your control, heat element, thermostat/thermal fuse, & sometimes your door switch. Check your thermostat/thermal fuse and heat element for continuity first. If all test good, go to your control and possibly your door switch. Check for voltage from your control and continuity of your door switch.Use the VOM. God bless you0999035f-139f-4f60-8314-2e1fc0f210a3.jpg

My honeywell ac panel went blank when i turn the heat on and the heat don"t start , the ac works fine

I would check a couple things lets start with the thermostat itself remove from the wall mount and check to see if the red and white wires are attached. Does this thermostat take batteries? If so replace the batteries. If still no heat make a jumper and jump out the red and white wires this should turn your heat on and now means that it is a thermostat problem. Purchase a new one and pay attention to all of the wires and where they go.Good luck

My nissan max continues to over heat. i replaced the radiator. but the mechanic did not replace the thermostat properly. do you think the over heating is due to needing a new thermostat?

not at all times can thermostat contol your cooling system, check for water leaks, water pump, radiator fans(check for speed) if all your cooling systems are good , replace your cylinder head gasket,

The bottom heating element won't heat up

If the new element is good then the next thing to check is the selector knob (COOK/BROIL) and the thermostat for the oven.

To check the thermostat, turn the selector to BROIL and turn the thermostat up until the top element begins to heat. Let it heat up a little then turn the thermostat down until it clicks off. If this works then your thermostat is working.

The problem then must be your selector control. Remove and replace (turn power off at circuit breaker box first!).

Of course, if the thermostat won't turn on the upper element either then it must be the thermostat.

There is a possibility also that a loose/broken/burned wire is causing the problem. You should check for this when you open up the control panel (after turning off the circuit breaker!).

Good luck!

I HAVE NO HEAT, i CHECKED THE THERMO FUSES ON BOTH MAGNETRONS AND THEY ARE OK. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW RESISTENANCE READINGS FOR BOTH MAGNETRONS AND TRANSFORMER FOR WHAT THEY SHOULD BE

The reading would be almost zero.It is anywhere between 2 to 4 ohms for heater coils. and 3 to 8
ohms for transformer coils. This should solve your problem. E-mail to us for your comments.

Hi,
If your electric2_bing.gif oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...
