Question about HP Nx6310 Notebook
I have the HP Altech lansing and i have some kind of connection problem on my screen . when i open it up i just get a bunck of lines jumping around unless i set the screen back as far as it will go witch sucks for the LCD screen couse i can only view LCD ay cirtain angles generaly have to be rite in front of it and it quite agrivateing. i know its just a connection problem with the screen its self but how can i fix this problem?
Nx6310, that is retired PC, now. too old.... NO OS stated.
old square screen 4:5 PC, as old as 2006 , and old as windows2000 and OMG FREEDOS. sold like that. 110 years old in dog years. !!!
PC = DOGS. a fare relationship,
the screen is bad, lines = bad.
if the lines change with twists of screen bezel or angle.
the screen is bad, or cable inside fell loose to it.
in most cases, (insides not messed with by kids) the screen is bad
the screen costs 2 to 4 times more that the PC is worth working
and 10times dead. or bad.
why not go to Goodwill , pick out a $20 PC with a bottom COA
tag W7 and newer, with wide screen. easy
here is cheap PC page just for that idea
we can never tell anyone how they can fix it.
your skills or tools are unknown..,,
this PC is about to land in the DEAD POOL,
HP drops support after 10 years, (i think from last one made not first)

SOURCE: laptop computer connection to tv
its not a problem with your hardware its settings problem either in your tv or laptop in the NTSC/ PAL settigns. correct those it should work properly. check the tv first..as its possible for settigns to be different, and this problem is not common for all vcd and dvd and blu-ray disks its the way they are burned in which format...
have a nice day...!!

before you spend $200 for a new lcd screen; may I interject; Please test your computer by hooking it up to another monitor if you get the same result; place your computer in the freezer for about an hour then start it as this model of computer is famous for overheating the nvidia video chip also the tiny fluorescent tube called a cold cathode has beeb found to glow red when about to fail the cathode can be purchased onlin at: laptoppartsdirect.com or, e-bay almost always the only reason to replace you lcd is: breakage or, bad pixels.

Its a problem with the lcd. It needs to be replaced. If you have a newer laptop then that would be covered under warranty.
If you want you can try to reseat the cable to the back of the lcd just to make sure its not a loose connection. If you get the same thing then a new lcd is in order.

I had same problem with HP DV6000. I ordered a new backlight on Ebay from Hong Kong cost $10 found a video on youtube on how to do it by typing in "replacing dv6000 backlight" apart from soldering a couple of wires was pretty straight forward and took less than an hour. Shop had quoted $400 to do this and fine is now working like new again. Good luck from Scott and please dont forget to vote
