In Outlook, you can use the Import and Export Wizard as the interface for Address Book conversion. To convert a WAB file, follow these steps: 1. Start Outlook if it is not currently running. 2. On the File menu, click Import and Export. 3. Select Import Internet Mail and Addresses, and then click Next. 4. Select Outlook Express 4.x, 5 from the list, and then click Next. 5. Select the product for which you wish to convert items from the list, and then click Next. 6. Select any combination of the Mail or Addresses from the items listed.

NOTE: With the exception of rules conversion from Outlook Express, the steps to convert addresses is the same. 7. Click Next. 8. Select a destination for the imported address data. The destination depends on the type of Outlook installation you selected initially. a. The Internet Mail Only installation of Outlook 98 allows only the Contacts folder as the destination. b. The Corporate or Workgroup option allows the options of Personal Address Book or Outlook Contacts. 9. Select the appropriate duplicate items option. Click Finish to complete the import.
Hope that helps..........

Well, the display can be reset to a different resolution, look in control panel and display, or right click on desktop, click properties and display settings.

The contacts require me to know what mail you were using, Outlook, Windows Mail, Outlook express, Incredimail, and what operating system you are using....

I can not send emails

So, cannot send from where, exactly? There are two main groups of methodologys, LOCAL client (Outlook, Express, Incredimail, etc.) and online mail box, (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo mail.

Typically, your complaint indicates you are using a local client....

Here is what happened: Internet Service Providers (ISP) are being held responsible for spam....so they decided that in order to protect themselves, ALL outgoing mail must pass through their servers....so they can monitor for spam.

So check with your ISP and ask them for the OUTGOING MAIL server that you shoud use.
This will be something like smtp.serviceprovider.com, rather than mail.yourdomain.com

Incredimail is just a shell for outlook express that add more functionality.
Go online to your ISP provider and get the email setting for outlook express.
Now enter the account settings into Incredimail. (link to howto page)

Hope this fixes it for you.

I am trying to get my e-mails from Incredimail switched over to Outlook 2007? can you help me?

As I understand from other sources online, Incredimail and Outlook use the same file formats. There is a export option in the menu of Incredimail, use that tool to export mail and contacts to Outlook. Once exported, take that file and use the import tool in Outlook (point it to the new export folder Incredimail just created) to import the mail and whatever else you decide to import.
Hint: The 'import' and 'export' tools are usually under the 'File' menu or 'Tools' menu.

Cannot get or send out e-mail

Hello achtymic and welcome to FixYa!

I need to know how you send and recieve email. Are you using Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Incredimail, Yahoo Mail? Or any of the likes?

Also, telling us who your internet service provider (I.S.P) would definently help us as well.

Thanks in advance for all the updated information you feel comfortable providing us with and we look forward to your response!
