Question about Danby Portable Air Conditioner

Not cooling enough

I have had this one for 2.5 years and it has worked brilliantly. This summer its not cooling as much as. The air is not as cold as it should be. I did clean all the air ducts at the back.. Any suggestions??

Conia air conditioner reverse cycle - not blowing cold air; checked setting its correct.. it seems to blow cool air, but house is not cold. It was working fine last summer, not sure of problem.


If you feel cool air near blower, you have to service your unit completely. Because it's giving cool but not removing heat from room due to coil and air filter blocking. Helpful?

After switching from heating to cooling - air won't come on


It sounds like the fan relay in the stat itself is not closing when you make the switch over. If you have had the stat for less then 5 years it is covered. Honeywell has a full 5 year warranty on their focus pro stats, and would replace it free of charge.

Ac and heater work great but go off. Then Ac blows Hot / heater cold air

1. check the fan
2. maybe some place leak
3. Do you still have the warranty?

Just get em re-gassed.I live in Spain and use it an awfull lot and two and a half to three years is about it.
