Go into the main menu and check 'Input' selection; it must be set to the input you have available such as 'Antenna' 'Cable', etc.
You also need to always include make and model if you expect any help.

Sharp LC-32SH130K always goes back to same Channel

go to the menu option and restart your TV settings to the factory settings. If you event can not use the menu and same thing happens, there is something wrong with the remote; maybe a button is being pressed all the time or there is some conductive material stick to the electric board.

LCD Thomson 32LB040S5It the sound is always in high volume

I assume you have already tried using the buttons on the side of the TV to adjust it? I would just do a factory reset on it. Enter the TV main menu. Select factory reset to return the TV Menu settings to the factory default values. If this does not fix it unplug to TV for 45min to do a complete hard reset.

Replacement screen for 42" LG LCD tv how much

The screen unit is called a display panel and if available the cost will always exceed the cost of a new set, not to mention some are sold on an exchange basis and have a core value.

Time to buy a new set.

I just got my tv back from polaroid and the color sucks! what is wrong

Adjust the contrast down. A lot of times when you get a tv from the factory they always have the contrast wide open. When I was working for a tv dealer we always had to turn down the contrast. Usually a good video setting is a smile face.

Tv lcd screen got knocked know a red line and a dark patch is getting bigger across screen

You have damaged the LCD Display, the cost of those are close to the cost of a new set. One day the manufacturers will put a safety screen on the front like the older projection sets had to protect those screens. When I sell a lcd set I always recommend to the customer to have a piece of Plexiglas installed over the front, especially if it's for the kids room. Of coarse it's a DIY project.

Speaker noise

Check the audio "out" settings on the TV
Modern LCD TVs, unlike older televisions, have additional settings for audio out, which could effect the volume being sent out the AV out jacks ... and sometimes a setting for sending the audio through the HDMI cable, which it sounds like you are not using ... so you don't want that enabled ...
If you can disable the volume control on the TV through the TV's settings that would be best.

It's also possible you have a bad cable, but if it works with another TV probably not that ...

Good luck!

TV forgets channels when unplugged

Has it always forgotten the channels when you unplug it or is this just a recent development? I know that on my old standard tube television or VCRs, the channel memory is always reset if they are unplugged - the same being true if the power goes out.
