Question about Motorola Mobility Bluetooth Hands Free Headset Wireless Headset
Holding down the main button while my phone searched for devices found it. I entered 0000 for the passcode and it connected.

I signed up just to say that solution #2 works, I am now hands free.

You can pair it with a new phone by holding down the main button on the headset and searching for devices on the phone to pair it with.
