You need to goto the manufacturers website of your motherboard, or your graphics card, find their support section and there should be a list of drivers for your specific hardware. Installing these should resolve your problem.
Hope this helps,

Video drivers

It either has an Nvidea or a SIS video card you need find out which generic driver loaded so you know which manufacture website to go to to get the Win7 driver. You can as well type dxdiag in the windows file search window and it will display that information if you dont know how to get to your device manager.

I cannot fix the display setting of my lenovo Y450

Please explain what is the problem and which setting you are trying to adjust. If you are not able to adjust the resolution settings then you are probably missing the display drivers. Anways please explain the problem in detail . Also let me know which OS you are using.

To find video drivers for unknown cards, you have a couple options. If you are comfortable opening the chassis of the computer, you can look on the video card itself for its model number, and then google for that model number. I've always been able to locate drivers in this way. If you are not comfortable going the hardware route, there is an application called System Info for Windows (SIW.) It can be downloaded HERE. Once you install and run the application, you can click on the "Video" node and the model name will be shown on the right (usually in the PCI ID section.) You can then google for the model name and find the driver that way

According to the information you have provided, I assume you wish to look for drivers for T1742 desktop. The VGA model is intel extreme graphics. You can find all the required driver by inputting required info on this website.

Here is a direct link to the driver if you prefer. It would be better to update all the drivers if not done already.

If you have installed an extra PCI-E or AGP, let me know the model number and I'll help you locate the drivers.

The latest driver 175.19 for geforce fx5500 not working have tried everything poss. i have other techs working on the prob too! they must have given up in frustration - like im about to.

sounds like yo had the same Probles that I had with my 5200 geforce The install did not go well. what was happening was the direct x was binding  to the old mother board graphics system and not the new card .  to make it rebind  just change the refresh rate in the nvidia  icon in your task bar . disable the display adapter from device  manager for the motherboard graphics .put the card in the slot  change the montior cord boot up check you direct x by typing  in run dxdiag and test directx to be sure it is runing with your card you can also see that fron the about nvidia you must have the driver for the card installed to do all this.. hope I helped

Something is Wrong with my computer (Vidoe card probelm)

If the display is working fine for you and you're seeing everything just fine, ignore the message. If you're needing the additional graphics capability, you'll need to install the updated video driver.

If you don't know the make and model of your video card, go into Control Panel> System> Device Manager and look at your display adapter. Double click on the adapter to get more info.

Then I would go to the manufacturer's website and download and install the driver for your video card. The error message should disappear next time you run the diagnostic.

use the same drivers. Click on the link below and on the page that loads look for the VGA column. Go down to the second driver listed (K7VMM), download and install on your PC. Your game probably tried to mess with your video driver and messed it up thus the default to the Windows default driver. I?m guessing you probably downloaded and installed the manufacturer?s video chipset driver on your motherboard. The rule of thumb is to get the drivers for a built-in device from the motherboard manufacturer unless they specifically state otherwise. Download page: http://www.ecsusa.com/downloads/drivers_k7v.html Try this one and let us know if you have any other questions. As always please don?t forget to rate this posting.
