When I copy, document comes out backwards

I have a Lanier LD232c at my office. When I copy a multi-page document, the top page is on bottom and the bottom page is on top. How do I fix this?

If I copy a multi page document with a cover page, when it copies, the cover page comes out on the bottom, with the last page on top.

  • juliesmce Jul 12, 2010

    Didn't work.

  • juliesmce Jul 13, 2010

I do not see an option for face up or down under input/output. Sort option is activated.

  • juliesmce Jul 13, 2010

I think making the copies come out face down will work, I just need to know where this option is.

  • juliesmce Jul 13, 2010

It is not hooked up to be a printer. It is a copier only. It does not come out of the middle section, the copies come out of the left side.

    Hi

sorry didnt get back I think I read your problem wrong thought you were duplexing (back to back) If your output is for more than one copy make sure you have the sort function activated otherwise it will stack the copies and give the result you have also check the output is coming out face down. you can check these in the user tools via the 123/user button. then input output tab. hope this helps A

is your unit the copier or the printer version..does it have the scanner unit on if so the 123/user button is on the left hand side at the top of the control panel here you will find the copier-printer user settings system settings is where yu find the paper eject settings..you can also get it to print to the internal tray this will give you the correct paper output..you may be able to set it up via the print properties if you are printing from a computer..

How do I change margin setrtings foe Lexmark P4350

If you are preparing to print a document that you have created in Microsoft Word, you may be concerned that all the text on the page will print exactly as you see it on your screen. This is not always the case. You can adjust your print margins to ensure that your text prints on each page exactly the way you would like it to appear.

Opening Your Document
Open your Microsoft Word document by double-clicking the Word icon on your desktop. If you do not see the icon on your desktop, then you can locate it where it is buried on your "Start" menu. Click "Start," followed by "All Programs." Then click "Microsoft Office," followed by "Microsoft Office Word." A new document will open on your screen. Click the "Office Button," followed by "Open." Scroll through the files listed, and double-click the one you would like to print. It will open on your screen.

Check Your Margins
By default, your page margins are set to 1-inch margins on the top, bottom, right and left of your page. You can check your margins or change them by clicking "Page Layout," followed by the "Margins" button.

Select New Margins
Select a different margin size, such as "Narrow," which indicate 1/2-inch margins, or "Wide," which indicate one-inch margins on the top and bottom and two-inch margins on the left and right. You also can select "Moderate," which indicate one-inch margins on the top and bottom and 3/4-inch margins on the left and right. Finally, you can select "Mirrored," which indicates one-inch margins for the top, bottom and outside. The inside margins are set at 1 1/4 inches.

Print Your Page
Print your page. Press "Control" plus the "P" button. The printer dialog menu will come up. Make sure that "All Pages in Range" is selected. Press "OK." If your printer cannot print your new margins, then a new menu will pop up telling you to adjust your margins.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

5. Pull out the jammed document from the ADF.

6. Press down the Paper Release Lever, close the Document Feeder Cover, then turn on the machine.

Removing the jammed document from the inner side of the Document Cover:

How do I clean the transfer belt on my Lanier LD232c (same as Ricoh Aficio 2232)?

The transfer belts on these generaly cant be cleaned if you know how you can just remove the transfer belt unit and take the cleaning unit ou this is positioned on teh leaft hand side just under the belt at the top there is screw take this out then press the small brown lever and and pull teh unit out carefully make sure you press the lever in as jif you dont you can damage the belt..vac this out and wipe the blade with a soft dry cloth.. if you are savy with the machine the main area to clean is the alloy or chrome roller at the top.. you will have to take the belt off to clean this.. the id sensors read off this to get reg and colour calibration right so it coulld cause problems if this is dirty..let me know if this helps or if you need more info..Good Luck A

Scan in color

Press the "Scanner" button. The new screen includes a button for "Scan Settings". Press that button; the next screen offers, among many options, a pair of buttons for "Tex/Photo" or "Full Color". Make your choice, then press "OK" and you're back to the main scanner menu and you scan as normal.

Everything is easy, when you know how. <s>

Brother mfc8860dn what do you mean by sort button

The sort button is one of the 6 buttons on the bottom right side of the control panel within the series of buttons in the COPY controls. When making multiple copies of documents with more than one page, it tells the MFC to sort the multi-page coping jobs into the correct order of the original document rather than the seperate individual pages.
