Loud fast beeps on boot.( Toshiba Qosimo F45 )

Loud fast beeps on boot.
Very loud... It seems to quit when i press the Esc key a couple of times but it still beeps a lot. The only other problem is notice is that the windows logo key will only open Start Menu it does not work with shortcuts like windows + E for explorer.Reminds me of a stuck key...
External USB keyboard works fine except right after booting the
icons on the desktop keep flashing very fast like the tab key is stuck
after I press the Esc key a couple of times it stops and works normally.
I am guessing its the keyboard or maybe the motherboard is failing.

Thanks,
Quasimoto

Looks indeed as if the TAB key was stuck or malfunctioning. The most common cause for such behavior is a liquid spilled on the keyboard, a bit of which got between the layers of the keyboard membrane films and causes intermittent semi-short between conductive areas.
A trace of liquid caught between plastic films is hard to get rid of, as it practically sealed and doesn't evaporate.
If it doesn't go away, you may need to replace the keyboard, which is not very expensive fortunately,

How to Insert Boot Media?

Mostly you wil have to adjust the BIOS of the computer to boot from USB or DVD media.
When booting most computers mention the button(s) to press to get into BIOS:
--A Function key (such as F1, F2, or F3)
--The Esc key
--The Delete key
On some PCs, entering the BIOS may require pressing another key or a combination of keys. Keep your eyes open for an on-screen message that says something like: --'Press F1 to enter setup'
--'BIOS settings: Esc'
--'Setup = Del'
--'System configuration: F2'
If you don't catch it the first time, simply try again. Your computer's documentation may also tell you which key to press.
3. When you know the right key, start the computer again and press the key when the first screen pops up: You may hear a confirmation beep or see a new message. If you timed it correctly, you'll be in the BIOS within a few seconds.

Good luck,
A.Misset

How to boot into safe mode

Windows can boot into safe mode by hitting F8 during boot up, but the time window for that is very small.

If you use a USB-Keyboard, it's a little bit tricky to press the Function key during the small "time-window". You can just press F8 a lot of times in a very fast sequence and ignore the beeps at every keystroke.
Do not hold down the F8-key permanently, because it will cause a keyboard-error and leads you into the BIOS.

Hope that works for you !!

Keeps beeping at boot

beeping in some computer is a factory installed indicator for a malfunctioning part on your computer. One possible issue on your laptop is a stuck key on one of your keyboard keys. Have your keyboard keys checked. If the issue is in relation with the universal charger, the laptop may not be recognizing it at first boot due to incompatibility with your laptop or the charger itself is damaged. Have them checked by a local technician to avoid further damage.

Acer 5742g Beep at boot up

I have a problem that looks like this one.

At boot up, after the POST, each time the HDD led blinks, the laptop produces a loud "beep", and refuses to boot, as if this phenomenon prevented the HDD to be read.

If I press the power button, it stops beeping. When I release it, it starts beeping again.

If I press F8 at the beginning and then ask for a normal boot, It boots normally. Anyway, in windows, I have some strange activity, like I would continually pressing Alt+Tab. If I press Esc, it stops immediately and then all seems to work fine.

Any clue?
