Trying to set up my wii to internet. have correct address, betting error code 51331

According to Nintendo's website you will receive that error if you have not entered in your wireless passcode correctly. See below error explanation from Nintendo:
Error Code: 51331
Unable to connect to your wireless network
Likely cause: It appears that the password (also known as a WPA or WEP key) entered into the Wii console is not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow.
How to fix: Make sure the password is entered into the Wii exactly as it appears in your router's settings. Security keys are case sensitive.
Don't know how to find your router's password?
Look for a sticker on the bottom of your router. Many routers provided by Internet service providers have their default password located on a sticker on the bottom of the router.

If you're not able to locate the password here, select the brand of your router below and we'll show you how to access your router's settings.

Hey there, you must connect to the router by typing the router's IP address into the address bar in your browser to access the management area. There you will find the Wireless LAN settings, which include the ssid(the wlan name), password, encryption method etc. I suggest WPA2-PSK because it's very safe.

Is there a eay to password protect the Belkin Play Router so shen you get ready to use it you have to put in a password and keep unauthorized users off you network?

ok change security mode is easy in router belkin
just ping 192.168.2.1 open setup page and get inside your router

click in Security and change the password for any you like apply changes and ready you have a new password .

other choice disable SSID share, so dont body will be see your Wireless SSID.

Router password

>If you're trying to put password for the Router, then type "http://192.168.0.1" into the address bar, then hit "Enter."
>Use "Admin" as the username and leave the password blank when the login screen appears.
>Please click on Administrator settings and change the User Name and Password.

If you're trying to put a password/secure the Wireless network, then follow the steps:

>In the Router setup page, click on Wireless Settings.
>Under Wireless Security Mode, select Security Mode: WEP/WPA/WPA2.
>Enter the Security Key manually or enter the Phrase to generate the Security key automatically (only in WPA/WPA2) and save the settings.
>Please note the Security Key to connect to the Wireless Networ.
>The Wireless is secured now.

How to block a wireless connection

first, log on to your router. to do this, open up internet explorer, then in the address bar type in 192.168.0.1 the user name is admin and i think the password is either blank, or it is also admin (unless you changed it) then click on wireless and put in a key for key 1. it can be as easy as putting in one number at the end. click apply, then continue. now, the only computers that have that code will be able to access your network. you will have to put that code into your computer to connect the first time, but it will remember the code after that. there is 26 digits, so i usually just put in 25 0's then one number, that way it is easy to put into the other computers, because you have to put in all 26 digits.
this should get ya going!

Securing my linksys wireless g router

Hello, In browser address window,enter 192.168.1.1. This will open your router settings. It will ask for a Username and password. I believe Username is "admin". You may not have to enter a password. If you do enter "admin" for password also. Once in to settings you'll see a link for "wireless". Click it and from there you can change Username, password,SSID(Router Nmae) and enable WEP security. There will be directions and explanation for most all questions. If there is more I can answer, please let me know. Hope this helps.

You can secure your wireless network wit WEP or WAP code.
For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
For belkin router http://192.168.15.1
or
http://192.168.2.1

If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Click on wireless settings then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router.
Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.
