Question about Samsung CLP 300 Laser Printer
Printer increases top margin of text document printed on A4 portrait by 11mm, moving text down on the paper and even off the paper at the foot of the document.
Problem is random but frequent with Word, Excel, Coreldraw and other programes
System used is Windows XP Pro using latest printer driver on P4 Intel PC with max ram
Resetting to default, re-loading drivers, re-installing all makes no change - it keeps on moving the printed area down on the paper
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I have the same problem with mine. Another option is to "Log Off Administrator" at the PC or "Restart" the PC and prior to shutting down it seems to pfrint all my jobs ... better than cancelling.

SOURCE: printing jammed on thicker paper
See the manual. It looks as if 120g/m2 is the heaviest paper it can use:
"Set Type to correspond to the paper loaded in the tray from
which you want to print. This will let you get the best quality
printout. If not, print quality may not be acheived as you want.
Thin: Less than 19 lb (70 g/m2) thin paper.
Thick: 24 lb to 32 lb (90~120 g/m2) thick paper.
Cotton: 20 lb to 24 lb (75~90 g/m2) cotton paper such as Gilbert
25 % and Gilbert 100 %.
Plain Paper: Normal plain paper. Select this type if your printer is
monochrome and printing on the 16 lb (60 g/m2) cotton paper.
Recycled: 20 lb to 24 lb (75~90 g/m2) recycled paper.
Color Paper: 20 lb to 24 lb (75~90 g/m2) color-backgrounded

SOURCE: Samsung CLP-500 output problems
i have found that removing the toners, and shaking them side to side, while keeping them horizontal, which seems to spread the toner for even distribution. This can sometimes fix the problems with fading prints. hope it helps.
Margins i think might be a problem with the wysiwyg of the program, some don't do it well, but also excel in particular has a shrink to fit page option, you may find the percentage not at 100%. you can also copy an excel table to word and print from that if it is driving you nuts.

If you are using a 6cm paper to print that is smaller than a A4 size paper.
do a check when you print did you select the correct paper size. as wrong paper size is print will course paper jam too.
