Sounds like you have clogged print head for the black ink. What you can do is to take out the ink cartridge then get some isopropyl or rubbing alcohol and a dropper. Use two drops of alcohol on the ink inlet and wait for 30 minutes. Use two more drops after 30 minutes. You can do this process over and over until you want to stop, the longer the more chance for you to get rid of the clog on the print head. Do a print head cleaning on the printer option after putting back the black ink.
