Hi,
Most small engines have a cap where you check your oil level. This is also the access for putting in oil.

Here is a link to the Troy-Bilt site for chiper shredders. I don't know what model you have but you can select your model and obtain a users manual.

I hope this helps you. Good luck!

Look on the motors. If there is a rubber cap (sometimes metal) on each end of the motor then a few drops of oil should be put in once a year.

Where is the oil filter located

your filter will either be a canister or paper type of filter the cannister type is usually at the front of the bike engine at the bottom. If it's the paper type these are usually located under the engine .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IgctXkWE-w here I've added a youtube video link on how to change your oil and filter it won't be your bike but the fundamentals are the same. Never run the engine while you are draining the oil or when the engine is drained of oil as irepairable damage will occur. hope this helps.

2000 Mitsubishi eclipse the oil light came on and my car shut down. I added 1 quart of oil and it was full but the car still won't start.

The oil light does not indicate the car is low on oil (based on your discription) it indicates the oil pressure is low, the no start is most likely due to this low pressure and the fuel pump has been cut off to prevent damage to the engine from low oil pressure. Please have a shop locate the cause of the low oil pressure warning and repair it as needed. It could be a false light or a real one, which means if you drove it very far you may have damaged the engines bearings.

I added oil to my Cadillac and it drained onto the ground

Before adding any more oil, make sure that you have securly replaced and tightened the oil drain plug (which is located on your engine's oil pan, under your car).

How do you add oil

Generally all vehicles the oil is added through the oil cap. Which is located in the valve cover. Sometimes the oil cap will be yellow, and most of the time will be marked oil. Than pour however much oil is needed in that hole. If not sure how much is needed than add some, and than check making sure it is not too much.

Crown vic oil change

Some of them have an oil plug at the front of the pan, as well as the regular one. You have to drain them both. The front one only holds a quart or less.

I cannot find the oil filler cap on my old toro. can you help me?

Hello:

You can Locate a Breakdown that will show you the Location of the Oil Fill Cap at the Following Site Addy.
https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm
Is this a 2 Cycle or 4 Cycle Engine?
If a 2 Cycle Engine, then the Oil is Mixed into the Gas and Poured into the Tank. If a 4 Cycle, then there is a Crankcase and Oil is Added to the Crankcase through the Oil Fill Cap.
Hope this Helps.

Good Luck

Respectfully
