How to properly install my carrier siesta air conditioner, seems to build up condensation that wont evaporate ,justwant the proper installation diagram ,orhow to do it yourself kinda video

condensation doesn't evaporate
it runs off the evaporator fins into a drain channel and out side
it is possible that the drain is blocked
the action of an air conditioner is to remove the humidity (condensation from the room) and drain it outside
if it is to evaporate then the purpose of the air conditioner would be defeated.

Can I wash the filter or do I have to replace it?

I think you can wash it, but before you put it back the filter must be DRY. If there is moisture smell you also can put one or two car air refreshers (I do this to my AC).
Good luck.

Does the Frigidaire FAH106S1T Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner recycle inside air or pull in air from outside? Also, how do I close the vent on this model?

yes it does recycle the inside air - it 'does not' pull outside air in (in the air conditioning mode).
The 'exhaust/outside air' vent - 'if it has one' (some don't these days) will usually be a manual pull/push lever, although I guess it might be a electrical/electronic switch.
hope this has helped.

Where do i find the model # on my siesta

Since 'TCA101D' - is your model number I'm assuming you're looking for the Serial Number - which is located on a metal/paper tag located usually on the front of the unit, which btw will also have Btu's, Voltage, Amps, and Model Number.

Often this tag is on the plastic front cover of the unit.

Hi. I just need to get a small knob for a Carrier Siesta II TCA087D air conditioner, and nobody in Australia has a clue as to where I can find one...not even Carrier!Regards, Sharon

I have a small knob for a Carrier Siesta II TCA81D air conditioner. I do not know if it would be the same size as one for the TCA087D. I can send this to you from the US, no charge. I know what a hassle it can be to solve this kind of problem.
