Question about Computers & Internet
This may be possible on laptops with a "magic" or "blue" button.
Many brand-name computers have a hidden recovery partition on the hard-drive, designed just for this purpose.
Contact the tech support for specific instructions for your computer.
Also, many computers have a set of factory recovery disks, to re-install everything.
You will loose all your settings and possibly some data when you do this, so back-up anything important.
Finally, you may be able to re-install the windows operating system from a setup disk.
You may want to try to repair your software installation, before taking such extreme measures, however. You can probably hire some smart teenager in your neighborhood to do this for you. If your plan is to destroy and rebuild everything anyway, you have nothing to loose

Press the reset button on the back until the test light blinks. This takes about 10 seconds. (To avoid accidental resets, the small button is recessed. Use a pen or paperclip to access it.)
Release the button.
Wait for the router to reboot.
Set your computer IP address to 192.168.1.3
connect your computer to the router, open a webpage and enter 192.168.1.1 you should get the username and password screen
