Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer
That is something called laser scanner contamination, behind the magenta catridge there is a little piece of glass wich is the laser scanner. clean the glass run at least 3 cleaning modes and then sent a test page and see if it gets fixed.
if not take the printer to a service center to make a deeper cleaning or in the worst case scenario to replace the lase scanner

Make sure that you use only HP. If you tried a refill it could be defective.
