My Office Jet pro shows Paper Jam but I have been over and over the clear process to no avail. The message just keeps showing. Is this a fault?
Know it well.
Could be a fault, but if you did have a "Paper Jam" to start that caused the error message, then there is a "tiny little piece" hidding?
You don't need me to tell you the obvious, but anyway heregoes.
Coals to newcastle. Remove rear paper access cover and like CSI use a torch, look carefullt for the tell tail sign of a little piece just out of sight. Should you find it, just laugh and swear!
If all appears clear, replace cover and lift scanner lid to expose the printer runner/guide.
Using the CSI Torch look again for that little just out of sight place along and between the small rollers.
No luck, then you look to the right of the compartment and hidden out of sight is the printer heads and cartridges.
Very firmly but gently pull the holder along the guide rail to allow you to look in the area where the unit sits.
Using your CSI Torch hopefully that is where you will find the offending piece of paper.
If after all that there really is no paper, the best thing to do and to save etting to annoyed with it, uninstall, and reinstall the complete programme, there could possible be a hitch with the actual programme.
Should that not solve it, try very gentle move the rolls by hand, as well as getting down to eyelevel using your CSI Torch checkout the tray paper feed rollers.
Best I can suggest without actually sighting printer. Good luck.
