Kindly check if your cam is compatible to use SDHC that you can found or read from your manual. if not you need to use only SD card, but if yes try to format your memory card or insert another sdhc card and you found out what is the problem.

thank you

Camera saying memory full but card brand new

Not only the size is important, the manual says SD max 2 GB.
But even a 1GB SDHC card won't work, because the camera is not compatible with SDHC and SDXC.
They used to make SD cards up to 4 GB, but most new cards from 1 GB and up are SDHC and above 32 GB the cards are SDXC. Older camera's can't handle these cards, although they look the same.

This is more likely a problem with the card. If the partition tables corrupt then Windows will see the card but won't be able to read data on the card. You will need to format the card.

Amilo pi1505 will only read sd card not sdhc

Correct. The PI1505 will work with SD cards but not with SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in devices not designed for them. You can get a SDHC-compatible card reader which plugs into the USB port.

Why doesnt my sd card reader work? I put in my gateway laptop and it doesnt work nothing pops up??

You might just have a bad SD card. Also, if you bought a card that is 4gb or more then you need a SDHC card reader. The HC stands for High Capacity. Look at the card to see if it shows HC under the SD. If it does then you need to find out if your card reader can read SDHC. If it can't then you need to go buy a new card reader that can do SDHC.

A memory card in a digital camera can be read in the camera but not in the computer

My guess is that you have an SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card in the camera, but the card reader attached to your computer can read only the older SD cards. SD cards that are 4GB and larger are SDHC types, and should have SDHC prominently displayed on the label. The card reader on the other hand, was probably made before the SDHC type cards were ever made.

You can find a new card reader that support the high capacity cards for under $20 in many places. Unfortunately, the older card readers can not be upgraded to read the newer cards - but the SDHC readers can read the older SD types.

Have your My Computer window open and re-insert the card into the reader. If it doesn't show immediately, then right click and choose refresh. It should show up then.

Sd Card reader not recognising SDHC cards

When You Insert your SD card into the internal card reader, then the SD card is not recognised by the system and the SD card drive doesn't show there. The problem can be because of driver issue, system issue and device issue.
To fix the problem you need to go at device manager if there is a yelllow sign in SD card controller, the problem is most probably caused by a driver issue. Then you need to update the driver. You can also download the driver for your card reader.
Also, check if your SD Card is broken. You can also check it into different devices port.
If it is detected then you can backup of your data.

If the problem not resolved by any means and you require you SD Card data then I will suggest you read - https://www.stellarinfo.co.in/services/removable-media-recovery.php
