Check for a bad switch/sensor for the front cover.
Make sure you close it tight.

Sorry, I don't have the picture, but if you go on to the website for the printer and get an exploded parts view, it might be there.

    good luck.

Dell 924 all in one cover open

Sounds like the sensor for the cover is not working. If you open the cover when it is on, then close it, does the error remain? It only needs a microscopic amount between 'open' and 'closed' - check if there could be a tiny bit of paper somewhere around the edges.
Failing that, get in touch with Canon.

I need help with installing ink

Open the front cover when the printer is turned on, wait until the ink tanks move to the change position. push the clip on front of each tank in and lift the tank up. take the tape off the new tank cartridge if it has one (only if it says to remove it) put the cartridge in and press down until it clips. close the front cover and the ink will return to its normal place and initialize

According to the product manual, six flashes of orange indicates an Inner Cover Error. The manual says to close the inner cover and then press the RESUME/CANCEL button.

Canon Pixma ip3000 flashing amber 6 times

If the 6 flashes are accompanied by an on screen message #5400, this is a "Service Call Error" code.

This code indicates the following;
Internal temperature error [5400]
The solution to this is the following part replacementl
- Logic board ***'y (QM2-1548) *1

*1: Before replacement of the logic board ***'y, check the waste ink amount (by service test print or EEPROM information print). If the waste ink amount is 7% or
more, also replace the bottom case unit (QM2-1205) or the ink absorbers (QC1-4222 / 4223 / 4224 / 4263 / 4264 / 4864 / 4221 / 4257) when replacing the
logic board ***'y.
[See Section 3-3. Adjustment / Settings, (6) Service mode, for details.]

Good luck!!!

Cd tray error Canon Pixma MP810

Sorry a little late only just read your problem.
The location is not the bottom tray feeder but the disk tray. In settings change your media type to "Printable Disk" the paper scource should automatically change to "Disk Tray" and hopefully every thing will work OK.

Printer cover open error message

I had that problem too.

Unplug the printer.
Hold the printer cover open while you plug in the printer.
Then wait for the printer to power on while still holding the cover open.
Then close the cover.
The buttons should work and th error message should be gone.

It worked for me.
