Kodak easyshare digital camera MD41, lens extends and closes when start button is pressed with fully charged battery light blinks red and turns off camera

hi open the battary comparment, remove the battery and check to see if there is a small button like thing (looks something like a small horn) there if yes then, press and hold it for roughly 20 secs and release reinsert battery and try powering on this would reset the camera to original factory settings at a hardware level

(i got my other Kodak c340 to work this way)

hope this helps

My kodac easy share c180 wont turn on

This kind of issue might happen. Remove the battery from the came and then press&hold the power button of the camera for 30 seconds.... Put the battery back and then try to turn it back on.......Hope u are sure that the battery has enough charge. If the step does not work try some other alkaline or lithium batteries if possible.

The camera won't turn on, the lens comes out and then back in and the camera turns off. This is a Kodak Easy Share MD41. It's only been used a few times around the home to test it out so it's not been...

The problem is in the systems control board, it is defective or it has detected a problem in the camera. The issue could be the batteries not holding a charge sufficient enough for the camera to run causing it to shutdown. Since the camera has been used so little there must be warranty remaining on the item, it should be returned for quick check where it was bought to get the matter rectified.

My Kodak easy share M1063 digital camera wont stay on

This problem is frequently due to corroded battery terminals inside the camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth (heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning. Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/repair/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.jhtml?pq-path=6198

It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.
