Trying to repair a scratch on the front of a lens is impossible without changing the focus of the lens. You will never be happy with the results.

Love my TY7005, but they have scratched lens. Can the scratches be removed or do the lens need to be replaced? Cost? Who does the repair? Is it successful?

unfortunately scratches cannot be removed. Therefore it's very important if you put your glasses for example on the table, to take care not to put them there on the glass. Always transport them inside an etui. Every good optician can replace them, the cost are dependent on the quality of the glass. But if you don't need optical glass they should be quite moderate.

That depends on what is causing the Jam, there are a lot of things that could cause that. Any good repair store will be willing to give you an estimate repair cost.

On a new Nikon 18-55mm AF-S DX Zoom - Nikkor f/3.5-5.6 lens and a Nikon 55-200 mm AF-S DX Zoom f/4.56 lens is VR also included and standard?

Nikon currently lists two 18-55 AF-S DX and two 55-200 AF-S DX lenses. One in each pair has vibration reduction, the other does not. The ones with VR in the name have it, otherwise it doesn't.

VR isn't exactly an option. If it wasn't built into the lens initially, you can't add it later. A lens either has it or it doesn't, though if a lens has VR it can be switched off.

Lens has lost ability to autofocus.

Nikon guarantees 5 year warranty to original purchaser. If your camera functions with another AF-S lens, then the problem lies with the 18-200mm lens. The AF motor unit needs replacement. Nikon should be able to repair the lens under warranty.
Make a copy of your receipt and go Nikon website to start repair service.

Scratched front lens element

Well, you cannot buy the front element by itself. The whole front optic set comes as a unit. You can call Canon USA, ask for parts,

The part number you are inquiring on is: CY1-2800

Have you taking any pictures with the lens? usually it takes quite a bit of damage to effect images. The rear optics are the more sensitive glass on all lenses
