Question about Televison & Video
Thanks for using FixYa. Blinking light indicates that the power is getting to the unit however, as its not working which means that the power board should be checked. To start with open the back of the unit and then check the power supply board for any bad (bulged/swollen) capacitors. Power supply board is the board where all the power cords/plugs goes into. After you have checked that also check the main board and if you can use a multimeter to test the components on these boards. However, from your earlier posts it seems to be the main board that is bad and should be replaced. All this should only be done if you have knowledge of internal circuitry of the unit as the components consists high voltages even when in off position. You can check this link for parts. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
