I don't know what else i can say...
my church lectures are recorded on a fm frequency and i want to know how to save it by making a cd disc.
I used to have a sansa model c150 with it i could find the file from internal memory with my player pluged in to usb port. then from the folder task i would pick 'move this file' I would move it to desktop. then i could make a disc by drag/drop onto burn4free or windows media player. That no longer works with my sansa fuze 4gb. It was so easy. :( help!

If you want move your record from sanza fuze to where you can burn it on a disc which is the computer.

Plug the the sanza fuze to the computer and the computer will automatically see the file from the sanza fuze. Then, move the file from the sanza fuze to your computer.

If your want to burn the record on a disc, make sure you have a computer that can write file on cd.

To do this, insert an empty cd ino the computer and the computer will read it as a blank cd. Then copy the record file from where you save it in your computer onto the cd and write it.

Within ten minutes you are done with it.

Thanks for using Fixya.

He didn't respond to me so i assume he is finished.

    Please patiently help, thanks

I CANNOT MOVE records from my sanza fuze to my computer.

  • bg_brown Jul 09, 2010

when i plug in my sansa fuze to usb port, my computer doesn't automatically transfer my records.

I see them in internal memory.IN internal memory is the records. 'Folder tasks' offers the option of moving, copy, delete, but it will not move to anywhere or copy anywhere. help

your paragraph : to do this[burn a record on a disc]insert an empty cd ino the computer and the computer will read it as a blank cd. then copy the record file from where you saved it in your computer onto the cd and write it. DOES 'COPY' DO THE SAME AS DRAG/DROP? DOES 'WRITE IT' MEAN BURN?

You will need to plug in the USB cable from your Sanza Fuse and then into your computers USB port and it should automaticly transfer the MP3 files into your "My Music" folder or into your iTunes or Windows media player. After the files are transfered, insert a blank CD-R and using iTunes, click the "burn disc" button at the bottom of page after you select the MP3 files that you want to put on CD. Your solution sounds simple enough, BUT, no files are automaticly transferred. what can i do about that?

When you plug in your MP3 player, click on "my computer" icon on your desktop and then look for the MP3 player inside the "devices with removable storage" Double click the MP3 player icon and this will take you inside the memory of your Sanza Fuse where you will be able to view each MP3 file

    Thanks but still doesn't work

    the steps i take:

    1. plug in USB cable from Sanza Fse

    2. Then into your computers USB port

    doesn't automaticaly transfer

Then I tried to follow your other suggestion:

    1. plugged in

    2. CLICK start

    3.CLICK my computer

    4. CLICK sansa Fuze 4gb

    5.CLICK internal memory

albums, audio books, music, photo, playlists, podcasts, record, service, devIcon,WMPinfo

    6. click record

    choices: FM - Voice

    7. click FM

    8. Here is my files which are still on my Sanza Fuze 4gb.

    9. click on one file(highlighted)

    10. In Folder Tasks i then have the option to rename, move, copy, delete

    11. It will neither move or copy.

How do I download a lecture recorded on my MP3 VIDEO PLAYER to a cd for the car. Everytime I download a lecture, the cd will play on the compuyer but when i try to play it in the car it will not play.

Has your car radio played burned audio discs before?

If so, you may have to refer to the disc types that have worked before (ex: TDK 80min/700mb works but Memorex 80min/700mb will not).

And if worse comes to worse it could also be your cd burning software. I personally use PowerISO to make audio cds (Had issues with the installed Windows7 burning software myself).

If I want to record let's say someone speaking for 90 min and burn 2 cd's , one 60min and the other 30 min from the one 90min recording , each one divided into tracks , how would I do this ?

If you want to burn a CD you have to make a master. For 2 cd's you have to make 2 masters, one for each recording.
The best way to handle this is to "create a song" for each speech giver and give each a name. This is because you can make only one master copy of a song before burning a Cd.

But another way is to :
1. Make a master of the first speech giver (who is on one track) and record to the Cd.
2. Make a new master of the second speech giver (on the other track) and record to Cd.
As long as you don't mind, the second mastering will overwrite the first one that you did, but then you already have burned a copy of that Cd!

Won't record record to CD-RW

First make sure your cdrw disc is blank. If it is blank try another good known cdrw brand disc and burn it in 12x speed for a good burn.

If it still fail check the software side of your cd rewriter first and lastly the cd rewriter unit.

None of the CD burning programs seem to work using the wav. files created by the recorder

maybe, you got those wav. files copy controlled. check out the relevant preferences from the voice recorder menus. if this solution doesn't work, simply convert the files into mp3, then convert them into wav. again. I hope this could help..

Post recording

maybe its the format of the material that is recorded on the disk. I.E. maybe MP3 when you should have used CD audio format or some such problem.
