The picture is zoomed in even though it is set to normal

The picture is zoomed in which is cutting off peoples heads and it is impossible to see game scores. The settings for aspect ratio are set to normal NOT zoom and no matter when I do it will not zoom out.

Picture on screen is too big head of people are cut off it does not show complete picture

Use your cable or satellite tv remote to adjust the aspect ratio. If you have cable there is a button on the remote called hd zoom and it has this symbol: #. On the satellite tv remotes it usually says format or aspect. You might even have to go into the cable box/satellite tv receiver menus to adjust the aspect ratio/picture format. Once you have done so you can fine tune the picture even further with the television remote's wide/format/aspect/zoom button. Also check and make sure your television is on the right input and that your cable box/satellite tv receiver is set at the right resolution for the television 1080p/1080i/720p.

Picture too big for screen; cutting off top of heads and bottom of screen

Go to the picture setup of your settings menu.
Somewhere in there are options for selecting picture size.
The options will be similar to: Normal, Wide, Zoom, Stretch
You have probably selected Zoom, try Normal.

The people's heads are cut off and I cant see the bottom scripts. It seems that the picture is too 'long' ...

Hi elmarie_bier ,

This could be because of the zoom function which has been enabled,

You can check on the Tv's remote control if there is any zoom button , if you find one, just press it so that it returns to normal mode and it should work ok ...:)

For some reason the picture is now too big for the screen. the heads on people are cut off and I can't read all the print at the bottom of the screen. Like Score to basket ball games.

You are most likely viewing the picture in zoom mode. To return to a normal view, look for a button on the remote that says "Wide" press this button until the normal viewing mode is selected.

How do you adjust the picture? Mine is zoomed in

Is this set using a cable or satellite box? I looked at the owners manual and did not see any format adjustments. If it is hooked to a box, check the settings there.

My tv zooms in and changes the format.

This is normal - you are zooming in on the picture. Most people use the zoom feature to "stretch" a widescreen movie so it will fit the screen.
