Question about Dell 3100cn Laser Printer
The easiest (and cheapest) way to fix this is to do a search on Ebay for "3100cn Chip" - it'll run you about $12 to buy a replacement microchip for the toner drum which will reset the system as if you had installed a new drum. Also, most of the sellers will include instructions (with photos) on how to empty the waste toner, that's a little bit more involved (maybe 3 minutes) and can be messy if you're not careful, but it's worth doing and will save you hundreds of $$$

Change the TONER Cartridge.. or try removing it and shaking it a bit. This will loosen the toner and give you a few more pages before you need to replace it.
