That is a cap screw you are talking about. The size of it is 7/16" X 1-3/4". The John Deere part # is 19H2563, but I am sure you can just get one at the local hardware store. I could not find out for sure, but on most blades they use a fine-thread bolt/screw. If you can tell the difference, check before you buy, or just buy both and see which one threads in easily. They wear out. How old is the mower? Mine just gave out this week in the peak of hay season. (my grass) The wire can be unhooked from the PTO clutch and a 12 volt jumper can test it, if it jumps, it is good, if not, it is shorted out, they are expensive, I found 3 of them all the wrong size for mine. Try to find the same one. Ebay has a couple on there right now. Check it out.
