How do i net work four computers to the internet

Hi For connecting four computers to the internet, you can use two ways
1. Connect 1 PC to net and then share connectivity 2. Use a router, connect the router with internet and connect all the PC's to the router so that all will enabled with internet
Better go for the second option as it will ensure a more reliable and error free network

I cannot connect my xbox 360 to my liksys router

what you have to do is go on to one of the menus on the Xbox and find your connection on there. First you have to link the wireless network adapter to the back of your 360 (around £45) and then its done!

I keep getting a message saying the server at dsl router requires a name and password. i keep putting in p.hoyles and password V8HNrAJ4 BUT THIS DOESNT SEEM TO DO THE TRICK I KNOW THIS WAS MY KEY TO...

First never post your user login info anywhere on the net that is not secure. A good hacker can always back track your connection and then they have access to your network and your personal files stored on your PC. So.. that being said when we get the problem solved, please be sure you CHANGE your Username AND Password on the router.

If you can't get logged in, my first question is are you on a Wireless Network? If you are, and you can, please make sure you are on a direct wired connection if possible.
On your router you will have a small hole that should have the word RESET around it. Usually near the power plug, on on the front near the lights. Take a paper clip and CAREFULLY push it into the hole. You will feel the resistance and the router will power off and back on.
This will put your router back to the factory default settings that it came with. If this is your presonal router use the manual you got with it for the user name and login. Usually ADMIN and Password, but can be different depending on the brand.
If this router came from the DSL Company and you are directly connected to it, then you should not have to do anything but reboot your PC.
Please let me know if this solves your problem. Thanks//Don

Most likely you need to change the IP address of the routher because your cable modem uses which is the default for many routers. So either use the disk that came with your router or login to your router and change it to That will solve the conflict and allow you to connect.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

Net connection

It seems to be some kind of router problem. I think the best thing to do would be to call Linksys support. I know it can be a pain waiting for the call, but that's your best bet..Sorry I'm not of more help..
