Question about Husqvarna Garden
That bracket is the 'anchor' for the PTO clutch. It keeps the clutch from rotating and ripping out its wires. And yes, to replace the pump belt you do have to remove that anchor - but it's easy, usually just two bolts fasten it to the chassis. You also may have to disconnect the PTO clutch wires -- there's a connector probably just above where they pass through the chassis. Good luck!
