Question about Cameras

My camera is Canon Powershot A95. Recently I found the picture I took and saved was in poor quality (dark one color only unclear) while other function is fine and the movie function is find as well. Could you tell me why?

When I view the monitor to take a picture,the view is good,but when I take the picture and then view it,the picture has light horizontal lines through it. Also the color quality of the picture is poor.


This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

I have a Canon Powershot A95. The lens won't come


press the "display" button while in picture mode, it should make normal.

Pictures turning out dark, LCD not adjusting


CCD sensor problems usually present themselves as either a blank image, purple cast, or lines through the image. Incorrect exposures are usually a result of the lens shutter failing to open and close correctly. Typically, the lens is not servicable and they need to be replaced.

Focus light always orange...never green

Color/hue


I see this everyday. The problem is faulty CCD sensor ( see enclosed pic ). You are lucky because Canon will replace the sensor free of charge so contact your agent.79c5c87.jpg

Poor Resolution & distorted Quality of Picture
