I presume you have a fault in your mechanism that is giving the wrong signals to the processor to hang up. Reset the changer if there is a preset present. Further you will need to remove the CD's from the changer and check if any of them are warped or damaged.Do repeat to load one cd and test, if this works then you are encoundering the fault when the changer loads, changing the trays. Look into the tray section for any change in the alignment.Clean off any dirt on the mechanism, look out for any broken flexible cords that moves for the motor drive. Also look out for any motor jamming of the load motor and the drive motor. You will need to look carefully for such faults to remove this error.
I hope this helps. Good day

Why does my sony DVP display "No Disc" for every disc; when they play fine in any other player?

Sony tend to have a notorious disc lasers... couple of things you might want to try..

1. clean the lens using a standard Lens cleaning CD.
2. Try playing a CD (music) instead of DVD (if this works...it is likely that the lens is not reading DVD)

Sony CDP-C910 will no longer play cds or eject changer cartridge

Mine did the same thing. My player was primarily used in the garage and the cold weather may have caused my player to do the same thing. I just fixed my player. I removed the top cover and looked at the CD in the play position. In the upper right corner from the CD, you will see a spindle motor with a belt on it. Gently spin the motor back and forth carefully with your finger. I rotated it a half-spin in either direction, careful not to dislodge the belt. When I turned the player back on, the mechanism operated as it normally would and began playing the disc. I was able to eject and reinsert the magazine without any issues, solving the problem. Hopefully that will work for you.

Why does Burn't Audio CD not play on some CD Players

because the codec's are different, if you have ever burned a avi file and it didnt play till you added say divx ir xivd to get it to play tech leaves out alot of the codec's so there system will work on most but not all cd's dvd's the only way around it is to find out which codec will work for that player to test what I have just told you take the cd to the store and try it on a different mechine and see if it works

DVD player isn't loading and playing properly

Since it will play eventualy, I'd suspect a dirty lens. Open up the unit and carefully clean the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. Also, try a music CD. If the CD works flawlessly but DVDs still fail occasssionally, the optics are starting to fail and will need to be replaced.
