Question about Woods Kubota Bx 24 Bx 23 Bt610 Bh75 And Backhoe Thumb

1 Answer

My BX23 rear yellow lights flash all the time...even when tractor is turned off. I have disconnected the battery cable to stop the immediate problem but need to see the wiring diagram to figure out why they are on full time/ or where to unplug them in the wiring system.

The hazard lights are wired so they will flash when the hazard switch is on, regardless of whether the tractor is running. Assuming you have tried flicking the hazard light switch on and off, and the lights flash no matter what position it's in, then I think the hazard light switch is shorted. Pull one of the wires off the back of that switch to stop the flashing, then order a replacement switch - it's not an expensive part. Good luck!

Could you please send me a much clearer version of the BX2230 lighting diagram you posted here? I unplugged mine to remove all hardware in order to get to the fuel tank. I failed to mark wires. Having a heck of a time hooking them back up properly. Thanks!

Lights flash when battery cables are connected

Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cables sets up the security alarm system which is part of the flashing lights. To stop the flashing, insert your key into the drivers side door lock and and turn to the unlock position. This will also stop any unwanted security alarms.

Hello- was driving my expedition el and when I stopped at the store and got back in it won't even turn over. The lights ficker- could it be a wire shortage? We jumped it and it started immediately and I...

I noticed the year model of your Ford, it may be under warranty for some of the parts. First, clean your battery connections. If that does not help, get your battery tested as it may be shorting out.

The negative battery cable usually mounts low on the engine. Check the end of the negative cable for corrosion or a loose mounting nut.

You can get the battery and the starter tested at Autozone or Oreillys for free, as well as an engine scan. The battery would be your responsibility, but the starter may still have warranty. The other electrical parts may be under Warranty.

The lights flashing could be part of the Alarm system but the locks would indicate a short in the power supply.

2004 4runner rear wipe blade and fluid just stopped working, is there an easy fix for this or should i take to dealer

If your rear wiper, fluid wash, and rear defrost stopped working at the same time try this first before taking it to the dealer. Start the 4Runner and lower the rear window glass. Wait a few seconds and raise the rear window. Turn the engine off and wait a few seconds. Restart the engine and see if this helps. I had the same problem after I had my drive belt replaced and the shop disconnected the battery cable. When the battery cable is disconnected it causes the rear wiper, fluid wash and defrost to stop working. Good luck!

Hazard lights flashing

I have a 97 subaru outback and encountered the same problem. It is a security device on all newer subaru's. After changing or charging the battery, leave the negetive battery cable disconnected. Turn the key to the "on" position, then reconnect the negative terminal. This will stop the flashing.
