Question about Husqvarna 24HP 54" Yard Tractor ()
Assuming it has a B&S V2 I would check it for bent valve push rods. In effect you are running on one cylinder and it becomes much more pronounced when you engage the blades. Without removing the valve covers you can check for a dead cylinder by removing one spark plug wire at a time and starting it. If it seems to run normally on one cylinder but not at all on the other, then you have a dead cylinder. I wold suspect the valve problem as I have seen it before and it happened to me too.
