SOURCE: pool heater won't kick on
check the gas line pressure; (if this was a homeowner installation you will not be able to check the gas pressure) dirty filters are the number one cause of heater malfunction. before you do anything else break the filter apart and clean completely and recharge with diatomaceous if applicable. also check the pump baskets and make sure there is no debris in the basket or blocking the impeller inside the pump. if this doesn't solve your problem call pentair tehcnical support

Low out put voltage from the pilot generator and/or an open circuit in the control circuit...the most common is a bad pressure switch (dirty filters can hamper pressure switch operation).

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.
For warranty service on the heater use the dealer locator found on Pentair's site here:
Choose service only and check the heater box in the product line section. If no one comes up, expand the service radius (distance) on the right side of the page.
You should not attempt to repair the heater yourself as doing so may void your warranty coverage. The only thing you should be sure of prior to arranging a warranty service call is to make certain your filter is clean and that the pressure gauge is operational. A dirty filter can cause the heater to sit idle due to low flow in the system.

Thermocouple is likely full of carbon deposits.
You'll need to clean it, or replace it - if that does not work.
Use some fine-grit sandpaper or steel wool to try to clean it up and re-try.
