Hi

If the clothes are wet each time you need to check few things…..

Motor coupler ……To test the motor coupler, re-start the washer in its spin cycle. Let the machine run for a minute, and then open the lid and notice whether the tub is spinning:
If it's spinning when you lift the lid, the coupler is fine.
If it isn't spinning--and your machine was produced by Whirlpool®--you may have a broken coupler. Many Whirlpool-made washers use a small, relatively inexpensive device called a motor coupling. This plastic-and-rubber component is mounted to the shaft of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the coupler wears out and fails. When that happens, you need to replace it completely.

Spin cycle ….If the washer doesn't reach its proper spin speed, the clothes may be too wet at the end of a cycle. Check to be sure the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again. If the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn or loose belt a worn clutch or a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Replace the applicable component.
Alternatively, there could be clothes caught between the inner and outer tubs. Also, there could be other things that cause friction on the drive train. Seek help of a qualified appliance repair technician.

Siphoning….If the water that pumps from the machine goes right back into the machine after the spin cycle, it may be because your washer is siphoning the water from a laundry tub with a slow drain, back into the washer. Try to improve the draining of the laundry tub. If there is something stuck in the drain. Also, be sure the drain hose doesn't reach more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub. If it does, cut off the excess.

Water-inlet valve …Water-inlet valves eventually fail. One problem that may develop with a water-inlet valve is that it can no longer completely shut off when the electricity is turned off to it. Then, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub--you may notice that your washer has water in it when you haven't used it for a few days. To fix this, replace the valve.

However if your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out.
To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.
Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error UE is an imbalance error, this occurs if the load is too small, the appliance is tilted and/or the laundry is gathered to one side. Try to check these symptoms to resolve the issue. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I have an LG model 2501 hwa washer . I feel the load sensor feature doesn't work . According to manual if you have too small a load it should display ue . With a empty drum it displays 0ne line on load...

If it is under Warranty, then definitely have them look at it. It would seem to be a sensor. Since it does not measure the load at either end of the spectrum correctly, adjusting the sensor up or down will not center it. You are off on both the light and heavy measurements.

Our LG227HW washer is showing an error code UE, what does this mean and how do we correct it

UE means an unbalance load. Either you have too small a load, too much of a load or you're washing a large bedsheet all by itself. If you are washing a large bed sheet or bed spread, you need to add about 4 bath towels in the load to help offset the balance problem. As for loads, you can only put in 15 lbs of dry weight laundry in the wash. Preferably, fill the tub with clothes half way up the window and no more.

Error code "UE" clothes have

UE = Unbalance Error

Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry.
If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

Lg inverter 75kg wd1238c problem, after before getting to the spin stage of the wash, it stops and the screens says UE on it and UE is flashing on and off

Error code UE cause : Load is too small, load is out of balance( 1 or 2 large items) solution: Add items to help balance the load, rearrange load to allow proper spinning.... Hope this is useful .....

My front load washer had ue blinking after a load was supposed to be finished. The clothes were soaking wet like the washer didn't spin

UE is imbalance error...Usually because a load in the machine is unable to distribute itself around the inner drum, and the machine senses the load as imbalanced.....Good Luck Nomess

What does UE mean in the window of my washer

UE = Unbalance Error. If you are doing a large item and cannot add, reduce, or adjust the load, try adjusting the spin speed to a low spin speed setting. If the load is still too wet, you can run just a pump and spin by turning on power and then selecting the spin speed, one setting higher than the last one which ran the full cycle through without resulting in the UE code,(without selecting a cycle) and push start.

My clothe come out very wet at the end of the wash cycle

If the pump is clogged and can't release all the water it won't go into final high spin. Remove lower cover and locate coin catch and unscrew it. Water will come out, so be ready. If it's full of stuff, this is probably the problem.

Clothes come out soaked

You water is not being pumped out when the spin is on; this is due to the outlet filter being blocked. Find out where this is from your users'manual and clean it out. This is to be done periodically according to your usage.
