If the orrifices screw off, take the of and blow them out. If they do not screw out, use a thin wire and poke the orifice to clean it out.

ONE of my burners on the coleman grill has low flames, the other burner is normal. what do I do?

The low jet probably has a partially blocked jet. It isn't unusual for paraffin or petrol fuelled burners to become blocked and the jets have to be cleaned regularly with a jet cleaner or pricker - a thin hard steel wire clamped in a pressed steel holder. Modern or premium products often have an internal jet cleaning mechanism built in.

It is rare for propane or butane powered appliances to suffer blocked jets but it does happen sometimes. If the jet is accessible it can usually be cleaned with a pricker of the right size but if it isn't accessible or the pricker provides only a temporary cure, the appliance will need partially dismantling and the jet (or nipple) removed for cleaning.

The burner to the right does not heat up. very low flame. all the rest of the burners work fine.

It probably has a blocked jet to that burner unless something has built a nest in the burner.
Burners are usually easily removed for cleaning or at least accessible. The jet will be fairly close to the burner air hole and can be cleaned with a wire pricker of the correct size. Unfortunately this sometimes pushes the blockage inside leaving it free to re-block the jet at any time. Removing the jet for cleaning is best.

Bosch gas heater is firing up and hot water is coming through but then cuts out after 1min water pressure drops and the burner cuts out

Ignoring the pressure drop which often is normal when the burner goes out, note that the pressure may also go up when burner is lit.
After 1 min. - suggest the flame detector needs cleaning. It's situate in the combustion chamber, usually at the rear, and looks like a right angled 1 inch pin above the gas jets. Clean with 240 grit emery cloth and also clean the nearby gas jets with a tooth brush

Model # MGR6775BDS - Right Front Burner does not light. I can hear the clicking, and see the spark. It appears that no gas is coming out. The other 4 burners work fine, and both lower and upper ovens...

Probably the gas jet is blocked. What you tried to clean is the mixing chamber, the gas jet is far too fine for a pipe cleaner to fit.

Access to the jet is usually by removing the cooker top and lifting away the burner and mixer. If something like a piece of grit is blocking the jet, using a jet cleaner will just push it back inside leaving it free to block the jet again so it is better to remove the jet before clearing it.

John 224 or anyone Help.Low Nox RP 2100Some of the burner orifices (jets???) seem to be clogged. A previous service tech, used a tie down cable (2" piece plastic with serrated teeth) to clean out...

Jets/orrifices are the same thing. They screw into your manifold and blow the fuel into the burner ribbon picking up air and mixing in the ribbon as they go. If you notice that some of the ribbons have no flame on top of them you know the jet(s) are blocked.

Spiders like to nest in them. Unlike a cob web, pollen or other debris, the spider nest is very sticky. You have to remove it manually from the jet. You can try to stick an object in thru the opening that the fuel comes out of. Do so with the heater off. All you will do is poke holes thru the nest but that is sometimes enough.

To get rid of the issue all together you need to back the jet out of the manifold. They are threaded into place with standard right-hand threads. When viewed from outside the heater though it will appear that you are tightening them as you wrench on them.

Once they are pulled out it will be obvious what you need to clean out of them. I use a small pocket screwdriver. An allen wrench works well to. Remove the next and thread them back into place. You do not use any pipe dope or sealant on the threads; just tighten them back down as you go and you should be all set.

Please consider re-rating this answer if it helps. If not, please add additional comments with what issues you still have.

Back burners wont light

Remove the back burners top lids and using a good blower jet and a good brush clean up the areas around it. this must allow the mixing of the gas properly. try to light. if this wont solve you will need to open the front flow controller, remove the knob, check from within after opening the top lid for the jet screw, open and clean and use a pin for cleaning. reset the flow controller after checking for gas flow into the flow controller. now set back and the burner should light up. Hope this helps you out. Good day

Burners ignite but wont light

Are you on Natural Gas or LP?

If on LP, you may need to change the jets on the burners on top. Most times, when oven and broiler work and top doesn't, and you have spark, your jets are wrong size. Look on back of unit for a cardboard attached to unit, should have jets stuck to cardboard, if notgo to store where you bought unit and buy jets.

Gas stove burner problems

Just though of something after digging through a number of manuals on various sites--with our stove, we have to open the propane valve, let it sit for a bit--to let the pressure build I guess, before trying to light it. If we don't the burner never comes fully on. Still drives my wife nuts.
