Question about Hoover HF7 160E Front Load Washer
I have a Hoover SE 160E which stops mid cycle with the start and crease guard lights flashing. The washing machine seems to stop prior to the spin cycle and the drum has been emptied of water. Any suggestions to the fault? The appliance is over 5 years old.

SOURCE: Machine stuck mid cycle
filter blocked or brawire or similiar in drain pump take off cover at bottom rear. take of hose going to bottom of tub. filter is in that hose you will have water everywhere. one way round that is to lay machine on side - left side down viewed from rear

usually crease guard is a combination of hot and cold (warm depending on water temp and water pressures)
Hoover fast wash is generally a shorted time cycle of the normal washes

Have you checked the pump filter, and or that the pump is actually working. if it spins o/k with no water in, then I would suspect a draining problem.
If filter clean and pump o/k, then it could be a control module fault. if this were the case, then it would probably be wiser to purchase a new washer.
Hope this is of some help to you.
