Let it dry for at least a week. Do not touch any buttons. If it is at all sticky (say you spilled soda or something on it) submerge it first in rubbing alcohol. Set it plug end down and just pretend it doesn't exist. Don't try anything with it. It MAY work a week from now if nothing was damaged. Playing with it now, while there's still water, may cause it to short out though.

Hang-up

Hi, when a apple i pod freezes and refuse to function, it means that the i pod memory has stop working due to an application you installed in the i pod.

To rectify this problem, you will need to flash the i pod for the memory to start working properly.

Flashing an i pod helps you restore lost memory. After flashing the i pod, you can now start using it again as normal.

Take care.

Ipod nano 2gb cannot be synced required disk

Hi,

1. Run "c:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc" (this is the Device Manager), this will need to be used later, but you'll need it quickly when you do.
2. Start i Tunes
3. Connect i Pod
4. Go to your i Pod Settings and select "Enable disk use"
5. A dialog box will pop up reminding you that you'll need to manually eject. Hit OK
6. Hit Apply to save changes to the i Pod
7. Quickly switch to Device Manager window and right-click on any item there and select "Scan for hardware changes"
8. Switch back to i Tunes, where you should have a nice, working i Pod!

Let me know, if problem still persists.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I pod not synchronizing

Most likely some one changed the auto sync option to manually manage. You can switch this back by going to the summary page in iTunes and change this setting just fine. :)

My i-pod nano (2GB) will not hold more than 43 songs when I import from my cd's. My ipod is clear of all songs and so is my library. Are I not suppose to have at least a 500 song capacity?

I have an I-pod nano 4 gb. What I think is going on is you are loading full "wav" files. The 500 songs is predicated on low quality "mp3" songs. Normally, I-tunes will convert the "wav" file to an "mp3" file.

Check your music files on your computer and assure they are "mp3" files. If they are make sure your I-pod does not have other "stuff" on it. Use I-tunes to reset it an "like-new" condition (that removes all files)., then use I-tunes to re-install your music.

If you are downloading files from the I-tunes store make sure they are safe so you do not loose your investment in tunes.

Since they are from cd's make sure the ripped files are safe, then try a re-install.

Should work.

Cheers
