Find the cable connecting your modem and computer.
Unplug it from the modem and plug it into the gray port
on the Belkin Router.

Plug in the ethernet cord from your router to your modem. Plug in the power adapter to your modem and give it 1-2 minutes to start up. Next, Plug the power to your router. Give about 1 minute. Go onto your computer and hit the start menu, go to the control panel. Look for internet connection and click on it. Find you internet connection, right click, and hit properties. Click on TCP/IP.
