Question about RCA D770 Remote Control

Open Question

Programming an Atlas OCAP 5 Device Remote Control

Have Sony KDL-40V2500 HDTV
Have Toshiba SD-V55HT DVD/VCR Sound System
Have Motorola DCH3200 Digital Cable Box
Would like to have simple, concise instructions on optimum way to use the equipment, i.e. connection-wise, and also on how to set up the remote to control them.
I am older (won't say how old) and fairly tech savvy (have to be - husband isn't) but I am definitely struggling with this combo and above remote control.
I would like the TV to play through the sound system (as well as it's own speakers if that's possible).
Thanks for any help given.

The fluid soundbar is working great but I can't get it paired to the universal remote supplied by the cable company. The remote is a Atlas Ocap 5.

The cable company's remote is NOT a Universal remote exactly. It is only universal with TV,VCR, CD, etc. The sound bar should have come with a separate remote, if not, go on line to the manufacturer of the sound bar and put in the model of sound bar requesting the remote control!

I wanna buy some speakers wires for this system i cant find them anywhere7067676412 if you have them

Even if you can find them they'll probably cost a relative fortune.

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Toshiba-SD-V55HT-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/284ag007/t/2/

Page 13 shows the wiring scheme.

The wire itself is just glorified lamp cord. Go down to Radio Shack or the hardware store and buy 100 feet of 18-gauge lamp cord and make your own - cheap.

Maybe bring the unit down to an electronic store and see if they have any compatible ends to match the proprietary outputs.

There are a couple whole non-working SD-V55's on eBay for under $60 delivered. If you check with the sellers to make sure the have the cables maybe you can work a deal.

From what I've seen asked for proprietary cable sets, these would be bargains.
