Codeblocks is a easy to setup compiler you would like if your beginning and its helps alot. Just download the 64 bit version of the compiler from their site and your good to go.

How to Run Turbo Pascal Full Screen mode on Windows 7

Now that's a program I've not worked with in a while ;-) I haven't used it since my early high school days in the 1990s. Turbo is a really old application that has been around for ages- unfortunately, being as such, it is only capable of developing 16-bit DOS applications, which has, for better or worse, gone the way of the dinosaur. In the x64-bit versions of Windows Vista and 7, all 16-bit native support has actually gone out the window in favor of 32-bit and 64-bit application development. This is why DosBox was invented- it is a true 16-bit DOS environment (much like command.com and CMD.exe used to be) that is capable of running all the older DOS programs that are no longer compatible with Windows.
When you run Turbo from the DOSbox program, press ALT-ENTER and it will fullscreen whatever you're working with.
Hope this helps,
- Vern

I have lighthouse/darkbeing 1996 and it will not install on my computer I have windows7 on mty laptop

This is an old program (DOS/Windows 3). It will not be compatible with a Windows 7 computer. (If you have the 64-bit version, you probably will have even more compatibility issues.)

Try using the program DOSbox, a DOS emulator: http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1 . Download the Windows version (it will work under Win7 x64 and 32-bit). Install the program then see if you can install the game. If that doesn't work, you will need a program that can make a .iso (image) of the CD. A possible option is MagicISO Maker: http://www.magiciso.com/download.htm . Save the iso to your hard disc and then mount the image in DOSbox . This is a two-step process much like in UNIX. You will need to mount the hard drive and then mount the image. The commands would look like: mount c "c:\images"
imgmount d "C:\Lighthouse.iso" -t iso
Then go to the D drive and run the game as you did when you played on your previous computer.

I hope this helps.

How to run turbo c++in vista 64 bit os

You can run Turbo C++ 3.0 on Windows XP 64 bit , Vista 32 bit and 64 bit OS (in full screen)

Install the software DOSBox ver 0.72 (Freeware) from the link below (Direct Link)

http://prdownloads.so urcef orge.net/dosbox/DOSBox0.72-win 32-in staller.exe?download

Before going to the details u have to create a folder (any name will do).

Here we name it as Turbo

Copy the TC into the Turbo folder

Run the DOSBox 0.72 from the icon located on the desktop or from the location of the installation folder

Then u are presented with two screens which look like the command prompt in Windows

Now u are presented with two screens. One with a Z prompt. U can ignore the other screen.

There type the following commands at the command prompt [Z]:

Mount [Type in any alphabet that u wish except z] [Type the source of the turbo C] press enter

For example (Type in the following commands after the Z prompt):

Z: mount d c:\Turbo\ [The folder TC is present inside the folder Turbo]

* Now u should get a message which says: Drive D is mounted as a local directory c:\Turbo\ ***

C:\> cd TC [The contents inside the folder Turbo gets mounted as a virtual drive (Here D drive)

Plz tell me how i can run c++ in full screen in vista ultimate

Hello

Use the command prompt. Maximize the window size. Change directory to c:. You will have a line that fits 75 characters and a window that occupies about 2/3 of the whole window. That's enough fore all reasonable problems. If you are not happy with what you get, you may try developping your C++ program under Linux.

Hope it helps

Turbo c not working....16 bit ms-dos subsystem error

There have been several changes in the way programs work. Windows xp does not
allow direct access to hardware resources to protect system integrity.
However you can try a few things

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314106
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=165214
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=324767

Generaly speaking this error shows up when a program tries to use a
command.com file from an incompatible version of windows.

Alternatively login in safemode and use. it ll work fine. rate this!!

16 Bit Vs 32 Bit Systems

You can't convert the program on the disk from 16 bit to 32 bit. However the 32 bit versions of Windows are supposed to include legacy support for 16 bit applications. What version of WIndows are you running? What's the exact errormessage you're getting?

However, I would recommend that you use a virtualization product called DOSBox. DOSBox is free software that runs older 16 bit applications on Windows (And other operating systems such as Linux) very well:
