If you cannot adjust the volume, your sound driver is not installed. Download the driver from this site. or here http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdownloads.asp?model=K8VGA-M

Browse to the "audio" section and download the driver. Afterwards, just execute and install the driver.

Thanks

My volume control on my control panel is gray cant get any volume on my computer

Has the volume ever worked? Have you recently installed a new sound card or graphics card?
You can see whether the soundcard is installed and operating by right-clicking on "My Computer", choose "Manage", and go to "Device Manager" - your sound device will be in there and you can right-click to update the driver.

Volume icon

If the volume control is all grayed out, locked like you said then your sound driver is missing or corrupt. You will need to re-install the sound driver.

Sound is noy hear

check to see that the sound is not muted, see the little speaker icon in the system tray on the lower left hand side of your windows desktop on the task bar. try to increase the volume.

if not go to control panel, sounds and audio devices, there on the volume tab, if it grayed out then you need to reinstall the sound drivers , if not just increase the volume.

I have no sound in my computer

Basic troubleshooting steps: If you have powered speakers, are they turned on? Are they plugged into the correct hole on the back of the computer (usually the green one).
In the accessories folder (in the start programs), then choosing entertainment and choosing volume control, is the little box that says "mute" checked? Is the volume set too low?
When you go into the control panel and choose sounds, are you able to play a sound, or is the little arrow that allows you to play the sound grayed out? If so, your sound drivers are missing or corrupt. Then your problem becomes "how do I get sound drivers for my computer?" If you ask this, be prepared to give us more information about your computer, the sound card, etc.

No sound

It's very likely that you have a factory amplifier in the vehicle that needs to be either turned on or (preferably) bypassed to get sound to the speakers. If your vehicle is a Mustang, it's almost certain that you have a factory amp. If the factory plug includes a long, 8-pin gray plug and a small, square 8-pin plug connected to a round cable, then the amp turn-on wire is at the opposite end of the gray plug from the constant power wire. This needs to be connected to the blue/white wire on the Sony head unit for the factory amp to turn on. Otherwise, if you dig into the radio cavity a little bit, you'll find a black 8-pin connector that looks very similar to the gray connector at the back of the radio. The black connector pins are connected directly to the speakers, bypassing the factory amp.
