the smaller speaker for regular calls is most probably dead you can get it replaced for around 10 to 100 Euros depending on model and where you plan to get it fixed its probably best to get a new one if your phone is over 5 y/o as the parts will probably be hard to find...

It's usually caused by a defective or dislodged electronic module that sits behind the ear speaker, this should be covered under warranty unless there are visible marks of the drop. If you're not covered, you can try a iphone repair guide websites, there are also places that sell iphone parts.

did you change your earpiece setting on the my settings menu, it's under Sound settings. you can change it to low to high. And when you answer the phone, you traditionally answer it the portrait way?

i have a android phone and it isn't working the tap screen isn't working and my lock isn't working I tried taking the phone battery and sd card out and it still isn't working last time I was using it was when I was changing the wallpaper of my cellphone and then it said to close the application and I couldn't because it freezed then all of a sudden it turned black and became irresponsive what should I do my dad doesn't want to spend 50 dollars for a new cell phone and I got insurance on the phone what should I do??

droid x2 screen won't unlock my son uses my old droid x2 for games. the touchscreen has frozen and will not unlock, however shows fully charged and connected to wifi. screen does not repond to touch at all and the phone seems to shut itself off, vibrates then goes blank. have already pulled the battery. no luck
