Look for a small hole close to where you insert the DVD, this hole is made so you can insert straight paper clip in to release the DVD just the same as one on your PC. If it does not have one then the DVD assembly will have to be taken apart to get the DVD out, just to get to the DVD drive will not be easy either.

The drive does not work. Plugged into laptop, inserted DVD and the DVD would not play. The release button will not release the DVD

Usually even these have a manual release button on the left side of the tray. You just have to open the slot cover and look, then use a paperclip to press the button.

Yamaha dvd player S530 disc tray no open, Outer player shell is off and no dvd nor broken parts, cannot find a manual release button? is their a remedy or a service manual for this.

I downloaded a service manual for this unit. It showed where the manual release mechanism was. Released the cd stray, examamined the mechanism and found nothing. Added a little lubrication to some of the moving parts. Reassembled, and everthing now working fine.

Cannot play DVD and stuck CD in the system! how

Most Philips DVD player and recorders have a manual release on the bottom of the unit look for a slotted hole on the bottom put a small screw driver in the slot and slide across this will release the tray.

Some older models have the paperclip hole like on all PC DVD-ROMS this will also release the tray if you have it

LG DVD gsa-h55 driver .inf file

I doubt that you'll be able to getmuch support for a product that hasn't been released to the puiblic yet.

The edition you have will be a Release Candidate which was released to developers to find any bugs. The RTM has only just been released to manufatures so that they can develop the drivers for when it goes on general release.

Basically you're jumping the gun a bit.

I have a lifestyle 18 bose system which only plays region 2 DVDs. How can I get it to play region 1 as well?

Hi, check below the media center/DVD player as to what region your system was fixed into (indicated by a number inside a globe). This is located underneath the unit just beside the serial number. FI the system indicates that your system indeed is set to region-2 then proceed as follows. IF it marks a different number region, then bring the unit to the Bose service center.

Steps in UNLOCKING REGION CODE of media center:

1. Load a DVD and wait for the display to show "REGION CODE ERROR, CONTACT BOSE"
2. Once this comes out, press eject button on your remote control but do not remove DVD disc
3. Press the following button commands in sequence (make sure they are in sequence and are pressed by looking into the media center display where a small green dot should blink indicating that each command is received).
4. First you need to initiate the system region change on the remote control:
a.while the tray is out and the DVD is still in the tray, press and release "RIGHT" arrow button
b. then press and release "UP" arrow button
c. after, press and release "SHUFFLE" button
d. then press and release "STOP" (black square symbol) button
e. lastly, press and release "MUTE" button and system should go on mute (indicated in the LCD display

After this, you now can change the region code by doing the following button press on your remote control:
1. While the DVD tray is out still and the DVD disc is in the tray, press and release "STOP" button (black square mark)
2. Press and release "SHUFFLE" button
3. Press and release number "0" button on numeric keypad
4. Lastly, press and release "ENTER" button on your remote control and the DVD tray should go back inside the DVD. The disc then should start loading and playing resumes.
5. Allow the DVD disc to run for a few minutes (if you want enjoy a full movie) to keep the region change resident before switching off again.

Now enjoy your Bose Lfiestyle DVD System REGION FREE!!!

Do note, this does not apply to Bose DVD system that are locked to region-1

Glad to be of service always!

Hello, if your dvd player is still under guarentee then dont do what I am going to explain, this is simple to get the dvd out undo all of the screws on the sides take the lid off and you should be able to get to the dvd, it should'nt damage the dvd if you push the drawer out to release the dvd.
