Hi, Looking for a longer duck hose, It is possible. You can get it from the manufacturers of pinguino portable AC, stores around or you can simply other for it and it will be delivered .

Just get to the website of Pinquino portable AC,check for their contact address close to you ,and ask how can deliver to your house.

hi,

the air output circumference is a standard flexible dryer exhaust vent line and the water drip line circumference is washing machine drain line. take a picture of the hose ends and take it to the home depot or lowes. cut up a cardboard box and use some duct tape to finish where the window adapter goes..

Hello? I have a new Artic King portable airconditioner, it was a gift, it didnt come with the hose, ( the hose that goes from the back of the unit up to the window, its a 5 " hose,

Ok... I'm guessing you need one??? I believe they sell boxes of flex duct at home depot these days. Pick up a box with some duct tape, possibly a piece of wood with a 5 inch collar so you are able to close up your exhaust point!!!

Yes, it definitely requires venting via an exhaust hose(s) (flexible duct) connected to a window converter.

We do not have a window in the room this need to be installed in. Does the window installation kit allow us to install the pipe that goes outside through our exterior wall of the house? Like a dryer vent...

I think you probably could. As most manufacturers of portable AC units allow for this. It's what called a semi -permanent installation . The dryer duct idea will work if the shaft part of the dryer duct is the same diameter as the window mount duct and the shaft of the dryer duct is long enough to go thru the wall and leave enough for the AC Exhaust Duct to hook to. Be sure that the flap door of the dryer duct moves freely and will not get stuck in the closed position. That could be a big problem if it does.
Keep in mind, you will not be able to add any length the AC duct hose. It must remain the same.

Hope this helped answer your question and things for choosing FixYa.

I have a Samsung dehumidifier model HD4080A I'd like to get a drain tube. Do you know of the kind/size I need? If so, please provide. Thank you.

Generally, all that is needed is a section of garden hose, no longer than 5 feet.. The female connection of the garden hose attaches to the male drain hose connection on the unit. A water hose for a washing machine will work,

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

We have a delonghi pinquino CT300H and it is now blowing out very cold air. we have the water filled and do not know what else to check. any advice

Darin, let's start with the basics of what can cause the problem of, "not blowing out very cold air:"

1. Filters need cleaning.
2, A crimp or blockage in the exhaust hose.
3. Exhaust hose has become disconnected.
4. Temperature setting not low enough.
5. Room is to large for the unit to cool.
6. A door or window is open or ajar.
7. A heat producing appliance is in the same room as the AC unit.

The 7 things listed above, are the basics of what can cause the problem. Of course there are other technical issues that could be playig a role in it. But, generally, the basics are what solve the problem.

I hope this helps you to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

Hello, I need the hose to drain water outside that fits the fridgidair portable air conditioner #FAPO9EP1Z1. Is there another small tube or is there any other hoses or vents that I need? I don't see...

impreston - with out the following parts , you really don't have "just the air conditioner."

1- Flexible Exhaust Hose
2- Hose Adapters
1- Sliding Window Kit
1-Foam Window Seal
1-Remote Control

The drain hose is something you supply. A garden hose, no longer than 5 feet will do if you want it to be a continusos drain, rather than drain into the water collectiong bucket. But, without the first 4 items lister above, you won't be able to operate the unit.

Here is a link that may be of some help to you, since you don't have an Owner's Manual.
http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Edison/2020252a0373en.pdf

You will beed to contact Frigidaire (1 -800-374-4432 ) for the parts you're missing.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

I want to have my LD Dehumidifier constantly running. How to I switch it over from the bucket collector to being on all the time?

You would need to connect a drain hose, no longer than 5 feet to the hose connection port on the dehumidifier. A regular garden hose will work. But, again, it can''t be longer than 5 feet. Since you didn't mention which model you have, I can't tell you exactly, where the hose connection is on your unit. Most are on the back of the unit, near floor level,

Hi is this a portable model or the ones you mount onto a window? The reason I ask is that Portable ac's with a duct tubing that you stick out the window are not efficient. I bought two models from different manufacturers. They can cool down a small room only. And it wasn't even that great. Please write me back and tell me which type it is... =)

Portable Air Compressor Comparison

Portable air compressors give flexibility to the job both inside and outside the working environment. They're powered by electric, gasoline or diesel engine. A larger portable air compressor often has its own carrying trailer with wheels and handles. You buy a compressor based on its horsepower, pounds per square inch (PSI) and cubic feet per minute (CFM). Choose a portable air compressor to make work quicker and easier. Figure the amount of power you need based on the type of job and air tools used. Know the cubic feet per minute (CFM), such as 5 CFM for small household tools and 10 CFM or more for wrenches or sanders. All air tools have these ratings. Select a gas- or electric-powered engine. Gas gives a higher reliability for frequent use and portability, but consider electric for enclosed areas for its lack of fumes. Pick an air tank based on amount of use time and tools. Large tanks are best for longer use with sanders or grinders and smaller tanks for less time, like wrenches and air hammers. Consider the pump type you need: belt for heavy use or direct-drive for light home use. The quieter belt-drive pump needs periodic oil changes. Buy an inexpensive, small electric portable air compressor for small jobs. These typically operate from a 12-volt power outlet and inflate a 14-inch tire in a few minutes. Get a 150 PSI, 120 volt motor pancake-type air compressor for home use. These light-use models typically carry two air couplers, allowing hook up of two air tools and adequate 25 feet or more air hose. Obtain a larger PSI portable air compressor for bigger jobs, like nailing, with longer continuous use capabilities.
