I would not take the tech's word for this. If this is a fairly new machine, I'd call the company's 800 service number and talk direct with them.
Sometimes the local repair outlets need a little prompting from the big company. They will be able to tell you if the parts are covered.

I have a Whirlpool washing machine;model AWM5104.I wanted to know how you empty the drainer. I've heard that for some makes of machine, you turn it clockwise but mine doesn't budge!

exactly what do you mean by emptying the drainer?
If you are in the correct category of washing machines there is only a pump that pumps the water out into a drain pump or sink and the hose is higher than the tub edge
to fully drain the tub then simply place the drain hose at floor level or empty into a bucket or other low container.

Water leak at bottom of Whirlpool Estate washer. Removed the cabinet. No leaks from the water pump, hoses or inlet valve. The tub leans a little toward the front of the machine. When filling/rinsin

It is common on Whirlpool models for the water to splash out the top when filling especially when sheets or nylon cloth is loaded in the washer. Air fills the cloth and balloons the garment up this caused water to bounce off the garment and splash out the back. This is the most common reason for those mysterious leaks. Lowering the water pressure coming into the washer can help prevent this.

Fully automatic washing machine top loading model water is getting drained out automatically

Look at the height of the discharge hose. It must be run higher than the machine, or all water can run out.

I have a strange odor

It is normal for all models of washing machines to have a gallon or two of water left inside the bottom of the washer and in the drain pump. This is not the cause of odor. The smell is being caused by residue left on the inside of the plastic outer tub.

The best way to clean a stinky washer is to use a washer cleaner that is able to be used with clothing in the washer. The added bulk of the laundry will raise the water level to include the splash area 3-5 inches above the normal waterline. This splash area always has the worst buildup.
After the odor is gone you'll need to change washing habits to keep it away.

I hear some different noice along with slight vibration, when water filling in the washing machine. my washing machine model is Whirlpool F65 fully automatic one 2 one 2 wash. Its need any service?

Could the sound be described as a chatter / rapid clicking?

If so, it's probably the inlet valve for either the hot or cold water which is not opening all the way due to a dirty/malfunctioning solenoid valve.

Leaks water frim front of the machine

make sure the tub is pushed back , not leaning foward. this fills from back of tub possible splashing on and over the tub rim, anorhersource of leak could be from pump assy removing front cover and lookng at pump will tell (if its been leakin its quite obvious)

Whirlpool washer leak

Regarding those Cabrio washers that are leaking, while I own the WTW6600 model and have never experienced any leaking, I was told by the service repairman who came out yesterday that there was a flash bulletin sent out by Whirlpool that the fix is in the form of a new inner plastic section. I don't know the technical terms but I saw the bulletin on his computer screen. He mentioned that some people had reported that water was on the left side front of the floor and was being caused by when the water flows through the top section where you pour the liquid detergent, on some models, the water would splash over. He was able to show me the redesigned piece that was being put in to replace those that have the problem. If you are experiencing a problem with water leaking from the unit, and it appears to be in the front, left side area, this could be something covered under that service bulletin.

Water splash sheild ineffective

My machine may be a different model, but seems to have similar problems. I resolved this by: a) making sure the splash shield is fastened correctly at all points round the tub (it worked loose) b) as a temporary fix reversed the foam gasket inside the splashshield until I get a new one
