Suzuki DT15 Boat Engine Manual

Dear Gentlemen, I have suspended boat engine 2007 year 11,00 KW
There are problems with carburettor, but in Lithuania there is no service for this.
Could you please send me some work drawings of this carburettor.
In attachment files you will see some photo of engine.

you havent stated if its 2t or 4t ,if its a 96 then no doubt its a 2t which if you are aware are not very economical so make sure you carry plenty of spare fuel,Now apart from the obvious with a 2t like the plugs and making sure that the carbs are clean then motor wise their is not a lot else to do ,other than an external oil up and grease iup of the pivots ,now what i used to do with my old mercury 80hp 2t was for every 20 litres of petrol that my tank held was to put half a litre of diesel in,plus the oil this helped to keep it lubricated on the top bearing which runs dry after a while and is prone to seizing ,especialy if you like giving it some speed ,The other thing i do regardless of 2t or 4t is to change the pinion gearbox oil every year ,i drain the bottom gearbox where the prop is and refill using a pump type oil can ,i dont use the special mercury oil as its too expensive i use diferential EP90 oil from a auto factor ,works just as well at fraction of the price .when using the engine always make sure you look back at the water coming out of the engine for cooling and if the jet seems to get weak with time or no water or very little on idle then change the impeller ,and lubricate with that special white grease for water pumps ,even in the sea this special grease doesnt dissolve but it is expensive but again its cheaper from a auto factor .Now their are no electrics to worry about as its a magneto so no points or ignition modules to go wrong .Make sure you drain the carbs when leaving the engine for any length of time as the petrol dries out in the carbs leaving a residue that blocks the jets ,on the bottom of the carbs is a screw to allow this but the small amount of diesel in the petrol will overcome this to an extent for short periods of up to a month .plug gap will be about 25th and happy boating

does the bulb get sucked out ?
if it does right at the tank there is a valve that have a little marble you just have topch it back or change the gas coupler that have the valve

Water in the oil of my 4 cycle Suzuki boat motor, what could that be


without a model number its impossible to tell weather you have a oil/sealed water/water heat exchanger or water is directly circ thru block , if its the latter 4 sure you have a bad head gasket ( Happens on aluminum block) if its the first one id 1st ck the heat exchanger O ring seals

Caravelle boat wiring schematic


I doubt that you'll find one. For the engine package (harness) you'll be able to find a diagram in the applicable service manual or on line. As far as the wiring that Caravelle installed in your boat good luck. My advise is to look at Nigel Calders book " Boat owners Mechanical and Electrical Manual". Charlie Wing also wrote a good text. Unless it's been changed by some previous owner your boat's wiring will be color coded in line with the standards of the ABYC. Once you know the color code it's fairly simple to figure out the wiring. At about 12 years your boat is prime for a few electrical issues.

55hp suzuki wont get up and go


I had the exact same problem. The problem was that there was a piece of dirt in main jet of the bottom carb. The engine would rev up aton fast idle but would not produce enough power to plane the boat due to the lack of fuel flowing through the carb. Cleaned all three carbs. Motor ran like a champ.
