SOURCE: Installed my Palm m105 on

Welcome to Fixya

Verify your Windows operating system first is it is a 32 bit version or 64 bit version. Go to: Start-->Right click on Computer or My Computer and select Properties. Look for the System Type. If it says 32bit then all you need to do is download Palm Desktop 6.2.2 (Download Here) and a 3rd party program from Pimlico Software located here: http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/, and look for a free program at the bottom of the page called: "PalmHotSyncSetup".

If you have a 64bit OS below is the only two options you have to sync your Palm OS device. If your computer does not have a Bluetooth or IR adaptor be sure to get one that is compatible to the PC you are using.

Now if your handheld has a Bluetooth radio you can hotsync though this and not have to worry if you have a 32bit or 64bit OS. To set this up download Palm Desktop 6.2.2 and then look up this link: http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/article/49229_en.html. Depending on your PC you may need to buy a Bluetooth dongle or adaptor. Be sure to get one that is compatible with your system.

If you have Infrared connetion. This is for the older handheld that do not have Bluetooth. You will need to have an IR port on your computer or find an IR dongle or adaptor for your PC as well. Once you have one look at this link to see how to set one up: http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/article/1941_en.html

Let me know for any updates.

Thank you for using Fixya!

In attempting to unsuccessfully download maps on Garmin for a NUVI 255W, I am now receiving an error screen on my Garmin: No detailed maps found that support routing. The nuvi cannot be used without them....

Ok I had same problem. Copy the mapupdater .exe file to another computer with internet access. Connect your GPS and then run the updater file. This worked for me. Good luck

Upgrade for settlers downloads but won't run

I had this issue as well. Download the patch directly from the website, and run it locally. Afterwards the updater won't find a newer patch, and goes directly to the game. I don't know whether this will break again once a new patch is released, but you should be able to manually install it again at that time. Patches can be found at http://www.ubi.com/US/default.aspx under support --> patches.

This link may take you directly to the right place.

AegisE5.dll was not found.

The file bcmwltry.exe is the tray bar process for the Broadcom Corporation Wireless Network software.

You can try eliminating the program from start up.
Click on Start >>Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotes), then click on OK.

When the System Configuration Utility loads, click on the "Start Up" tab, then scroll down to the "bcmwlt.exe" entry and UNCHECK the box next to it.

Click on Apply, then OK, and the computer will need to be restarted. Do it. Upon restart, you'll see a System Configuration Utility warning. Simply choose the option to stop it from repeatedly opening.

This will be fixing your problem
Have a great day!

Error during start of Computer

Hi shyjuu, run a search for the file css.exe (Which may be part of spyware). Once windows has found the file or files delete them. (Double check that they are not being used by a program). If it is, uninstall the program. Run a virus scan on the drive.
